Everyone talks about the reliability (or lack) of air suspension. 45 years ago I worked on a very large hydro electric power project. Pretty much all of the off-road/rough road heavy earthmoving machinery had air suspension. Air suspension on off road vehicles has very well proven reliability. Then there is the question of wheel travel when at maximum height. Land Rover's off road system helps get around the lack of wheel travel, while the raised height lessons the chance of sill damage etc. But because the suspension can be lowered when back on normal roads, there is none of the instability of conventional 4WD's with raised suspensions. And lets be honest, even most Wranglers etc spend more time on the road than off.
Have had D4 n D5 for over 11 years. Been off road n towed 3 t van for 10,000' s of km. Never ever had any issue with air suspension in either cars.
If only owners just maintain their air suspensions very well there would be no problems...
How do you maintain air suspension? I used several D2 for work many years ago and they all had air suspension issues.
Had a 2019 Discovery 5 new fully loaded on a 3yr lease. Loved it.
Best road trip vehicle I ever owned. Had every confidence in it no matter the conditions.
And no, I had no problems with it either. Everything worked, all the time.
I left the brand because I wanted it go EV, but if they release an EV version of the next Discovery I'll go back.
The Defender came out after we got our Discovery but to be honest the cargo space in the Defender was lacking vs the Discovery (and we put some huge items in the Discovery so it mattered) and when specced similarly the Defender just didn't feel a upscale as the Discovery which felt like 95% of a Range Rover for 65% of the price.
The Defender does look more cool I agree. That said, I'm one of the people who likes the look of the Discovery 5 from 90% of angles, (yes even the offset license plate) but I don't like them with black rims and roofs, it just doesn't suit the shape and makes it look awkward. And if you hate the kick up on the back next to the license plate that they keep pointing out (which was even worse on the D3 and D4 imho) then make sure not to get the black infill panel there as it only highlights theat design even more whereas on a white one without infill you barely notice it.
After 3 years reliability is a different story ;)
@@adams1696 It is. But I didn't have it long enough to give any true judgment own that. I do *think* the new ones are better than the older ones in that regard. An LR4 has so far shown itself to be better than say a Disco 2 for example. If I'd kept it I would have bought the extended warranty to 7 years and then after that sold it as I don't keep any vehicle beyond that anyway.
@@andrewroberts1787 I feel that. I’m worried about my Macan but all the reliability reports put the newer Porsche’s as good so hopefully that’s true haha. No problems so far 🤞
@@adams1696 Lovely car you've got!
@@adams1696 After owning 4 Land Rover/Range Rovers I had enough of the reliability issues. Each of the 4 left me stranded on the side of RT 80 in New Jersey, The George Washington Bridge in NY, I91 in Hartford, CT, a bad area , or just bad town in general New Britain, CT at 1am. Just to name a few. I LOVED driving them, I hated always worrying about breaking down, idiot lights going on , IE engine light, Radiator overheating light, etc. etc. All within the first 20 thousand miles. DONE!!.
I think my next vehicle will be one of these but since I never off road, it is great to see a summary of their strengths doing non off road things. I've built both online and they are within $5K the way I want so cost isn't factor. Oh and I love "unreliable" vehicles. I have:
2011 Jag XJ SC---92K miles
2012 Jag XKR---51K miles
2017 Alfa Giulia----42K miles
Between all three I've replaced the water pump on the XJ two years ago. That's it.
I own the Discovery 5 pre refresh 2019 and its amazing its such a capable off-roader even though the numbers are less.
Just sold my 19 d5, loved it for the time I had it
Same here, have a 2017 and it's great
We have a Discovery 5 and love it, it might not not be a rock crawler, but during a recent winter storm, we were safely able to drive from Lubbock to FT. Sumner New Mexico, on ice covered roads.
We saw other vehicles struggling and slipping but the Discovery maintained traction the entire time. They closed the roads for safety concerns and we were forced to stop.
Whoever edits these videos to include Tommy’s F’ing A is my favorite! lol

This is NOT the top spec discovery. The S is the baseline model with the SE and HSE above it. For example the HSE has 4 zones of climate control with rear zones both controlled from the back of the centre console- similar to that of the defender in this review.
wrong
This is correct. S is the baseline spec with R Dynamic additions on top of it.
got a pre owned discovery 5 2019 3.0L twin turbo diesel a few month ago. magnificient car. had some leakage in the windshield which was fixed by reinstalling the windshield. also changed transmission oil at 65,000km and it helped a lot. planning on changing engine oil every 7k km. overall great car.
Love LR - my past two vehicles were LR. My RR Velar R-Dynamic SE P380 was so much fun, but not so much for rear passengers (space a little tight). And I would never have taken it off-road. But I loved actually seeing the air suspension do its thing. I do wish that LR had given the Velar of my year an open-exhaust option as I think that would have made the 3.0l Supercharged V6 bark rightly.
For some of the reasons you mentioned, I needed to bid adieu to my Velar as it was going out of warranty. I really wanted to just go with a more recent model, but **no** LRs - used or new - were available at my dealer in 11/21. So I went with a Mercedes GLE53 - pluses and minuses as one would expect. No perfect trade-offs.
Quick question to folks: when people ask me the difference between "Land Rover" and "Range Rover," I respond that generally the Land Rovers (i.e., badged with their models) are more of the "U" in SUV, while the RRs are more the "S" in said abbreviation. Thoughts?
The Disco is a great vehicle. I had one from our local JLR dealer and used it to tow my daughter's horsebox and it was SO impressive. Felt more planted and relaxed than even my own Range Rover - albeit I have an L322 which is longish in the tooth. Would love to try the new Defender.
Please do a off-road comparison with both having same tires and wheels, please 🙏
I've not heard people say the Defender is basically a Discovery. What they have said is the Defender realistically IS the Discovery 4 replacement we should have got. It's of a similar size and shape, it has the swing open tailgate etc.
Also, the tailgate opening to the right isn't an issue in the UK where we drive on the left and therefore when we open it, it's open to allow us to get to the footpath.
I'd take a split tail gate (FFRR) vs. a swing gate any day. Plus, the Disco has the option of a drop-down platform (which the model shown doesn't have).
@@petehelme7714 but it didn't used to. The Discovery 1 & 2 both had a swing door. Discovery 3 & 4 had a split tailgate. discover 5 is just a normal hatchback style tailgate. The Defender however has always has a swing door tailgate, unless it was the pick up version.
discovery 4 much better than defender because it's more practical
I have a D4 at present so this was very interesting to watch, really enjoyed the review. I like that fact you appreciate Land Rovers and their Britishness (I know this isn’t always everyone’s cup of tea 😉). Would have been good to know which you would own and prefer to have as your vehicle?
Tommy flipping out like a rich little 12 year old girl at 3:41 continues to be priceless.
Geez, I didn’t find his frustration in any way reminiscent of a pubescent girl.
It was funny, but sadly it pointed out a fairly significant detractor of the wheel size choices of JLR for what is supposed to be an off-road biased vehicle. I’d be pissed too if that happened twice in a row.
3:40 will always be favorite Tommy moment.
Finally, thanks for the comparison and our demand for this video. 👍👍
Good paced review. No stupid jokes, no nit picking or oily false praise. Just honest stuff. Thanks.
Perfect timing on this guys. I am in the market for either one of these vehicles - wife wants the disco and I want the defender... this video illustrates why pretty well.
To me the defender looks better with the white steel wheels , if you want more luxury feel then I am sure the discovery is the better choice
Disco is the ultimate road trip vehicle. The new Defender is like a Swiss Army knife, built to last.
Best overview Ive seen - tons of info in a matter of minutes. Thanks man!!! Wil go for Defender 130...
I'd rather have the Discovery if I had to choose between them just because of my needs. Off-roading is secondary for me.
Great video Nathan, love my Disco 5! I would love to get the Defender but there isn't enough difference to make me spend the extra money, the Disco does everything my family needs, and it's great off-road. We have the Rhino 2 inch lift from Lucky 8, Toyo 32 inch ATA3 tires and after market rims. The gas mileage suffered a bit when I did all that, but still 21 on highway. Not so good City lol.
32"? Don't they rub?
They are both clearly different but I don't see you making a case for which one is better. Why is the video titled this way?
Nice work on this one, Nathan!
As per LR own public statements
The Defender is the replacement of the D3 and D4.
More utilitarian and boxy and rugged vehicle.
The most off road capability that LR offer.
LR purposely pushed the Disco 5 into a much more upmarket direction
Disco 5 is meant to compete against
BMW X5 / X7
Benz GLE / GLS
Audi Q7
Etc
Disco has more room in Row 3 v the Defender 110.
But a Defender 130 is not far away, and this will have a lot of room in Row 3.
When u get a Defender with Row 3 seats, there is much less under rear floor storage compared to a 5 seat Defender.
Both vehicles weigh well over 2 tonne, unladen, and they are not particularly aerodynamic, so of course they won’t be hugely economical vehicles, particularly above 70 mph.
They r both fantastic vehicles.
Buy the one that best suits your particular automotive requirements
If this was a replacement of the D3/4, they shouldn’t have called it a Defender then.
@@crazygooseventures
But they did
So get over it
The new Defender is the perfect 21st century replacement of the previous generation Defender.
And it also took over from D3 and D4
The new “Defender” is an over complicated vehicle. 85 ECU’s doesn’t bode well for an “off-road” vehicle. A 4WD system that primarily interfaces through the info centre is not practical nor reliable, design flaws carried forward from the original Defender that weren’t necessary, a winch setup that requires a 40 hour install, an air suspension that has numerous fault points so troubleshooting is difficult and in some cases not trail reliable but yes it’s the perfect replacement of the previous Defender according to McGovern. After 20+ years of LR ownership, I see some things still haven’t changed which is the disappointing part of JLR’s approach to this redesign.
All JLR had to do was keep things simple with the new Defender and they would have been fairly successful as that’s what the market wanted but instead they took complexity to a whole new level. They should have taken notes when Ford redesigned the Bronco (and I’m not a Ford fan - they just did a much better job of understanding what the vehicle’s niche was). There’s very little resemblance this vehicle has to its predecessor to carry that badge.
And don’t get me wrong, when JLR products work, they are phenomenal to drive, but they’re a company that forgot its roots.
Also, if JLR admits that the new Defender is the replacement of the D3/4, then they really didn’t understand the Defender’s market or this models role in their family lineup. That statement doesn’t even make sense from a “Defender” badge perspective. That means they didn’t design a Defender replacement.
@@crazygooseventures
The previous generation Defender had no safety, no comfort, no tech, no airbags, it was not a comfortable daily driver, and was only able to be sold in a few countries around the world, and it was not selling in big numbers.
New Defender has comfort, safety, tech, it’s a great daily driver, and fantastic off road ability.
Many options and accessories etc, plus mods are readily available to create the Defender that suits you and your requirements.
U can buy basic versions of Defender that have less gizmos, steel wheels and no air suspension etc
It’s a hugely popular worldwide seller.
Over 30,000 on worldwide back order.
I’m sure LR would be very happy with it.
They made the right decision by building a vehicle that appeals to the masses.
The Bronco has a limited market.
Ford have a lot more resources then JLR.
LR have high standards, regarding towing and off road use ability.
A basic Defender that would have only appealed to the off road community, would have had an RRP that was expensive for the masses.
The limited sales appeal of the vehicle, did not make this scenario a financially viable option for LR to pursue.
A very good comparison! Well done Nathan, this is excellent.
Nathan stepped it up a notch or two on this one. Kudos to the editors too.
Rear cargo door design was a criticism of the old Defenders and yet, JLR carried that to the new design too?? Makes sense. I hated trying that to get cargo into my 110. Even putting a tire in the back was a pain. Best designed modern LR was the LR3/4.
I'd take the coil spring suspension and put a lift with swaybar disconnects to have better suspension travel.
I just got a Discovery 2023 fully loaded. B/B 3rd road seat. the 3rd row seat does not have easy access. but a lot of leg room once you're in it. drives very smooth considering it has 22' rims. has a kick once you put it on S drive. very please that I got this vehicle.
7 months later, has your discovery been treating you?
@AlfaAK101 one of the better cars I've had

Great video Mr Nathan
Great job ! 👍👍
I have a 2017 D5 HSE Lux diesel and love it....have had it 3 years now with not one issue. Love the diesel...mpg in the high 20's on average, and around 31mpg on a road trip. The diesel is super smooth and tons of torque, and other than the little diesel growl coming off a stop sign (which I like)...no one even knows that it is a diesel. I'm sad that you can no longer get a diesel in the USA...I would love the Defender with a proper diesel. But, I guess that's the sign of the times. Anyway...very happy with the D5...but I cold see getting a Defender as my next vehicle as well
Really wanted to order a brand new Defender, however you can't really get them based on chip shortages and such. Coming from an LR4, I love the boxy styling... BUT I started really researching the Discovery 5 and ended up with a 2018 TD6 HSE Lux. Love the engine, love the car. Changed out the wheels to 20" vs. 21" with Duratracs, have the rear locker, and it's pretty much unstoppable. When I need extra clearance, I have Proud Rhino lift rods to put in and I can crawl the same trail they show in Moab without scraping. Long highway, towing, offroad, the diesel rocks. All in all, I'm super happy with my Disco5 and didn't think I was going to be!
Do they still offer the diesel or is it no longer an option?
@@kevincraftsbcs4488 no longer an option in the redesigned car. 2020 was the last TD6 model year. In Europe they still offer 2 diesels, we just won't get them in the states.
Really excellent commentary on these cars!
The LR3/Discovery 3 beasts them all! Still driving my 2005 and it looks great as I put a lot into it to ensure it stays in good working condition. I also own a 2011 LR4 which is more luxurious. However, I prefer the LR3. The only issue I have with my LR3 is the fuel efficiency... especially in these times.
I have a 2009 LR3 and a 2017 Disco 5. I enjoy the LR3 more but the fuel consumption is becoming a deal breaker
My 2017 Disco has the diesel and it's amazing. I put larger KO2 tires on it. I think it beats the defender. Mine also has a tailgate that I think is a must have on it.
'R-Dynamic' "S" ist the BOTTOM LINE version (WITH sport/bling bling trim). 'R-Dynamic' "HSE" would be the top line version (also with sport/bling bling trim).
The versions without sport/bling bling trim ('R-Dynamic') are just called "S/SE/HSE" (and prior MY21 "HSE Luxury") - in that order.
So you are comparing the bottom line version of the Disco ("S") with the bling bling trim to the advanced version of the Defender ("SE"). That's the reason for the weird pricing.
Also, the 'R-Dynamic' trim basically makes the Disco a 'on-road only' SUV, since the trim alters the ground clearance AND all the angles drastically. (Not to mention it comes with bigger rims and thus less rubber on them.)
It would have been better to compare the Defender to the Discovery without the 'R-Dynamic' trim.
I love both of them… just wish they came standard with 18 inch wheels
we have a MY19 Discovery and it wakes up every morning and does what it needs to do without any problems. Great review!
Is an offroad obstacle comparison coming? Maybe not a good idea with those road tyres anyway.
My wife and I discovered the value of having a hatch in a downpour. Instant roof!
Just what I needed to know, was the perfect explanation for the questions I had.
Great video! I have a better view from my Defender than I did my little Mini Cooper! I find my Defender easier to navigate and park!
Yep a lot more window / camera / sensors on our Defender but I still prefer our Mini Cooper for parking job it's so much easier to park especially on NYC street.
@@nickminir56 well I felt pretty confident parking my Defender until I reversed into my (new) neighbour’s parked Porsche! To be fair I wasn’t using the Defender’s cameras! But my Defender didn’t have a mark in it! His Porsche was in the body shop for a month! It does indeed defend!!
@@CrueLoaf ditto hit my daughters car smashed the bumper and a light, I nearly burst into tears as my Defender is only 6 months old, until I saw the damage...nothing...
Not a discovery or defender owner but an evoque owner it’s the easiest car I have owned to park by far esp when you consider reviews saying lack of rear view
We had a new D5 top spec HSE Diesel and it was a mixed bag...
Positives:
Quiet on the motorway
Reasonable economy when not towing
Leather seats looked good
Negatives:
Doors too deep - the bottoms would catch when opening in ruts/rocks.
Flimsy - interior trim came apart quickly. Bits fell off.
Exterior - we lost undertrays/guards torn off on minor tracks.
Electrical "quirks" - the dashboard didn't always work. Blank screen. You could drive and operate it but had no idea of fuel/speed.
Electric tailgate - would flatten battery. Happened twice. Recovery.
Cruise - wouldn't hold a steady speed.
Towing - throttle mapping was inconsistent which made low speed maneuvering with horse trailers not smooth as it should be.
Ad-Blue - it had a serious drinking problem.
Reverse tardis - felt big/awkward to place on tight lanes/trails yet lacked interior space. Land Cruiser is physically bigger but the opposite: it's more spacious on the inside but easy to place on trails.
Boot/trunk space: surprisingly small, Deerhounds hated it.
Alarm: unnecessary multi-step process for disabling the interior sensor (dogs) when popping into a store. Other brands use a button, works better.
Overall: mixed. Lovely shiny "country car" for "city" people. Wasn't ideal for our use case. Just not practical or durable enough. Wouldn't trust running one long term. It was a relief to get rid of it after 3 months.
I had a 2000 Disco SE7. Loved that truck. So capable off road, unstoppable in the snow, and very comfortable. Had ACE, and downhill descent mode. However it had a slew of problems before 63,000 miles: Engine block cracked, radiator needed replacing, ACE airbag failed, heated seat element failed burning hole in seat, third seat needed replacing as it could not be put up, Sunroof leaked and needed replacing, heated windshield element failed right in front of steering wheel and best mileage ever was around 16mpg. Service was followed as indicated in the manual. Had to trade it in.
What’s your point ?
That was a vehicle from 22 years ago..,
Nothing. Just that Quality has always been an issue with LR. They are incredible cars when everything works, but when things go south they can get very pricey very quick. Case in point the first Defender TFLTruck purchased. Lot’s of problems for a new vehicle.
@@seadawg4278
I’m ex motor trade
Much of that with JLR
I have long term experience with the brand
I totally understand what u say
JLR have finally gotten serious about improving reliability since 2 years ago.
Their product is excellent
Reliability issues are way way down and customer satisfaction levels are way up
Every manufacturer has teething issues with an all new vehicle
Defender did not have any serious issues in its first 12 months
LR have since sorted out the minor issues
With regards to TFL
IMO they were very stupid to take a car off showroom floor and up to high altitude
Drive it for a few days at the normal elevation and let the vehicle settle in.
TFL absolutely milked the Defender issues in a very OTT way, which gets them CZcams views, and $$$
The wiring harness issue with their second Defender just added more ammunition for them to be OTT and get more CZcams views
And everyone just unfairly jumped on the band wagon and gave Defender and LR unfair criticism about reliability
I absolutely loved that Disco. From the positioning of the window controls, the awesome defrosting windshield, the killer sound system, downhill descent control, ACE and just the fact that it rode so well, and was unstoppable in acclimate weather. It was Kent Green, with brown leather interior. I got it used, and it had an extended warranty. Picked it up with around 23k miles. Drove it for years up to around the 65K mark. Three days after the extended warranty coverage expired, I had it in for an oil and filter service and asked them to look at the oil leak. That is when they told me about the Radiator blockage, and the cracked engine head. Even though I had mentioned an oil leak on a prior visit, they would not cut me a break. Said they had no records of any oil leak… To repair the Radiator and rebuild or replace the engine would have been around $12K. It may have been the dealer not being stand up, but that was more than I could take. I still see some of those Disco years on the road, and I kid you not…I still have a soft part in my heart for those.

The colour and spec of your SE7 sounds fantastic
Was a great car
An SE7 with Leather Trim, ACE & 18” wheels was a lovely drive.
LR product is special
It gets under your skin, and u love them
Reliability issues are extremely annoying, and thankfully it’s now unlikely to happen.
My June 2017 Disco Sport diesel HSE has just clocked 90,000 kms and it’s been perfect since day 1
Awesomely great vehicle
Had quite a few Discoveries over the years and have test driven the New Defender a few times, off road day at Landrover. I agree with your review, they are different cars made for different purposes. Only downsides I found with the Defender was that I was very motion sick in it off road and it’s price, a pity as it was a fine car.
The Defender's rear cargo bay area is really tiny for an SUV. Put a typical 45 litre camping fridge in there and half the storage area is consumed. And hence not many are configured for 7 seats, as there simply isn't enough space in there - the upside is a great departure angle due to the very short rear overhang. Another great benefit of a short rear over hang is that the tow bar is much closer to the rear axle, so towing a heavy travel trailer (aka caravan for Australians), it would be tremendously stable. Re the second row seats on the Defender, a real negative is that the seat backs cannot be reclined. They are a fixed position only, so this makes travelling in the 2nd row less comfortable in the Defender.
I really like the new defender the interior looks so smooth and perfectly more space
At some point yes these were very good vehicles but.. today for about same amount of money : Rivian (R1T or R1S) is by far a better & smarter choice on long term ! ;0)

I'd like to see them both up on a lift to see the differences in running gear... if any.
I currently own a Disco and was looking at the Defender, but the Defender 5+2 doesn’t have the seating comfort in the third row as the Disco has. I think it has to do with the wheelbase?
Gotta wait for the D130 if you want a 7 seater that can actually accomodate humans. :-)
How do you compare a Diesel Disco (2017-2021) to a Defender I-line 6 ?
I hear on the various CZcams channels that the Defender cannot be towed if breakdown, is the Discovery the same? It's to do with the gearbox ?
I would love to see an off road comparison. I suspect you don’t give that much with the disco vs. the defender.
The discovery is nice from every angle other than the back which is grotesque where as the defender is pretty appealing from every angle
I’ve actually had a D5 behind me and I thought it was a RR.
The lowering of the rear suspension has been about since the Disco 2. There was no button in the car to do it, you needed an optional green fob. I have it on my TD5 and it’s great for loading and unloading, especially when you’re loading stuff on the roof 👍🏻🏴
Old disco looked so much better and defender almost feels like a replacement to that!
Agree 100%
This is the perfect review , always wanted a like for like review between the disco and defender as these would be my 2 contenders if going for an suv , love the idea of having a 3rd row just incase, aswell as having all those compartments (especially the hidden compartment behind the tempreture controls on the disco) as much as i do love the defender i reckon the disco would be my choice in the end although would definetly get the rear hatch changed to a symetrical boot hatch , i know and apprecaite why they keep putting it in but its serves no purpose now and is just annoying to look at .
Should have had a split tailgate

The only reason TFL got rid of their last defender was to fund the new bronco, no issues with that one at all!
Correct
They like to get the latest new released vehicle ASAP
It gets them views, and after 12 months they sell it, and get the next new thing
@@StephenFogarty2023 yes Stephen your right I have been watching tfl since day one that’s why they want to buy the rivian rti next if they can get one!
Steering wheel on the defender is metal not plastic. The coating they used is designed to be able to deal with all sorts of material stains and be cleaned easily. End result is it feels plactic but easy to clean.
Terrific comparison
Great looking vehicles, capable off road, the only problem is that they spend a lot of time in the Shop and you spend a lot of $$$$ to keep them going.
Great video, but in my opinion nowadays all Land Rover are only different declination of the same SUV project.

Whatever happened to the blue/lavender Defender? I missed the episode that talks about it.
Go watch the update video on it? It was sold to make way for the new Bronco, it was reliable and a very good car.
JLR does have ePace. Ingenium could be range extender
Can someone tell me if their defender tells them the remaining miles till next service? Just had my first service and I explained that this menu option displays “ no information”. The dealer said it should start calculating the service after the initial delivery. Well, they said they reset the computer and when I got home the menu option for service still says “ no information “. It’s under the main menu, my vehicle, service.
Wonder the same here
Looking forward to subscribing to TFL UFO! 😂
That was a great review
You should take these two off road and see how they differentiate on the trail.
Recovery and Pretender. The dynamic duo.
The screen in the 2023 Defenders is much bigger. About the same size as the Discovery's.
I live in Denmark. Starting price for the baseline discovery? 205.000 USD.
Wow, the 110SE is only $62k in January 2022? It now starts at nearly $69k
That sold me! Lets go 110!
Did y'all sell your Blue Defender and bought this one instead?
I want the old Defender they so Solid
the best comparison
I just priced a Defender 90 ( No options ) at 53,650.00 I know you have tried before but I would like to see it tried again. Against a 2dr Jeep & a 2dr Bronco. Only this time if/when it doesn't work - Call them out on it. I'll bet anything it would fail again.
Is the Discovery’s engine transverse mounted?
No, it is north-south orientation.
Ah, TFL loves any reason to show the clip of Tommy yelling "FOGHORN A!!"
How can they not even get the basics right, Discovery R Dynamic S has two levels of spec above it SE and HSE? 30 seconds on the land rover website would have told them this, poor research guys come on!
And STILL the best out of these two - the LR3/LR4.
Of course the trick with a Land Rover is keeping it running long enough to get home!
I do love both of these but lean to the Defender. I simply do not want many luxury or electronic conveniences. I don't mind a little extra work on my part. I simple want my car to be very dependable and easy to repair. But none are made this day and age. All that said, one day ago I bought a 2007 LR3 . . . SMH
Add a 1.5 “ suspension lift and add 275 60 R20’s BFG’s on them! And your good to go!
R20’s???? For off-road? Or going to Starbucks?
@@crazygooseventures it works! Nice big Fat BFG’s …..easier than changing the rim size, brakes etc….and still have the big engine
15:47 - it is aluminum alloy, not plastic
Where's the little tailgate in the back of the Discovery????
Comes on the HSE model
That was a great 👍
“TFL-UFO!” Lol
Which is the best??? I want to know 😊
To a mechanic, there are no winners here.
4 cylinder engine block cracks under pressure. Costs $20k to replace.
Be careful of that fence you’re sitting on, you my get splinters!
