Tomorrow is General Conference of the Kingdom of God on earth. The prophet and apostles of the Lord Jesus Christ will speak His words to us. This man was of like power and authority. I am grateful to have heard his teachings and testimony.
Great man. I Thank Thee oh Father for sending living prophets and apostles again upon the face of the earth. I am willing to lay down my own life to testify that JESUS IS THE CHRIST THE SAVIOR OF THE WORLD.
This testimony by McConkie is very educating. I never knew that Angels did not minister during the great apostasy. He has a way of phrasing that help understand how things fit into the Great Plan of Salvation.
If that's not the words of an apostle, I don't know what is. Elder McConkie never failed to impress me with his testimony of the Savior and His mission on earth.

Elder McConkie represents the best of the LDS apostles that have ever been. In him we get a true understanding of God & Jesus Christ on a higher level. We actually get something that is remarkable. With our current prophet it is not the same. I support him, but giving a talk & repeating over & over, “think celestial” comes up a bit short. I don’t know whether President Nelson thinks we need talks that are dumbed down or something else. But I long for talks that were filled with rich messaging & The Holy Ghost. That was & is Bruce McConkie.
Many dozens of professional speakers do so. Any wonder it doesn’t make any difference either way? The guy had a photographic word for word memorization of all The KJV Holy Bible and other scriptures.
They don’t make the authority’s to speak this way anymore. So powerful his witness of God, Jesus the Christ, other prophets and then the prophet Joseph Smith. So powerful!
