- There's two main ways to make your jaw harp playing louder, through your technique, or through modifying the jaw harp.
If you're new to the jaw harp this video is all about showing a couple basic techniques to help you get a fuller sound, and also help you understand if the jaw harp you're playing isn't as loud as you hope.
If you want to learn all the basics of playing the jaw harp in less than 20 minutes, check out my video here: • How To Play the Jaw Harp
THANK YOU BIG APPRECIATE THIS VIDEO
Easiest way to play louder is to play a proper harp. So very true :-)
Super vidéo encore. Very nice vidéo again. Keep going !
And it’s snapped in half thank you so much.
Sorry to hear that--that's super disappointing.
You must have a microphone in your mouth. Even when I get close to a microphone it does not
pick up like that. I have a Pavel Potkin which to me, is on the quiet side.
I tried imagining what that would sound like, lol. I have an MXL V88 condenser mic just off camera.
Hm... I'm not sure! I probably normalized my sound (I do with all my videos), so maybe it came out louder than normal. Perhaps the gaps on the harp are not as tight?
can you play a jaw harp if you have dentures?
Yes sir You can!! gotta use some good glue but its even better than teeth really they dont vibrate your eyesballs as much as before.
