Most of the people who live in this town are employed by the B.I.A, (roads department,law enforcement, Indian Health services, the IHS hospital the schools, game fish and parks) or the Tribe, (Housing Authority, Animal control, river city transit, the tribal offices, the telephone authority, the LTM--Lokota thrifty mart store,eagle stop convince store,dairy queen,subway shop, family dollar,cenex,the local college, the two homeless shelters,the propane gas companies etc etc. those who dont work are on addictions,alcohol,drugs and live off General Assistance (welfare) EBT(food stamps)they do have two employment and training programs (oyate connections) j and National Indian council on ageing) and TERO I was a exchange student there for a while and got to interact with many, the first part of the video is what they call "the white side of town" the second part of the video is technicaly what is known as Cheyenne Agency, old cheyenne agency was flooded to make way for a dam up river in Pierre. Supplies go there like any other small town, by Truck, Sysco,pepsi,coke,us postal, fed ex, UPS,speedy delivery, family dollar etc. white ranchers lease most of the tribal land to farm corn,sialage,sunflower, raise cattle I found their grocery stores well stocked, with a small food court for pizza,burgers,chinese food and they love chicken mac and cheese which sells good it seems, they have a small cenex store that inside resembles a small wal-mart, things to do are going to the nearby casinos, and other towns like mobridge dupree,pierre gettysburg bismarck and rapid city, lake oahe is near so that is summer fun, i was an exchange student there for a while.

Eagle Butte is filled with nepotism and drugs, a decent enough town if you are only visiting. The night brings a lot of drama, I don't recommend staying, unless you have a job or a purpose being there.
Getting a job in town is a struggle and its do to who you’re related to or your last name. If you ain’t related to someone who is hiring you are not getting employed by them. Same thing goes for you applying to social services, the person filing your form will take "extra time" to do so because of your last name.
