It’s amazing to me the things people “throw out” or “donate”. The things you find are gorgeous pieces of history! Each one of them has a memory. Thank you for sharing g Julie!
To remove paint from brass. Place on pot of water and Dawn detergent and boil for one hour. Let cool and remove paint with a brush.
That carriage would be great for that victorian baby I found at the bins
I have three of the music composers that I received from my music teacher in the mid 60s.
Yep. My daughter received them from classical guitar lessons.
Wonderful video just wonderful I love it when you thrift and show what you bought
My favorite is the Angel The rocking horse the birds the whale
Everything you got was nice you have a good life for everything
My husband loves to cook & teaches any of our 5 grandkids at any time ! Kudos to your son for learning to cook and loving it!
My favorite item is the boat basket.
Loved the, GRAIN SACK, the unique QUILT & AUNT JEMIMA bank !🤩
Jbweld would fix that little iron horse. I found it at Lowes in the paint dept. It's in a tube like glue.
Your flea market is amazing! It seems you have the whole place to yourself!! Great finds! I’d love to shop with you!
I loved the video. My favourites were the baby doll carriage and the lop-eared bunnies.
Loved the home made ironing board too.
I have an ironing board my granddad made for my nan 97 yrs ago. Yes you read right 97 years lol.
You are SUCH A DELIGHT TO WATCH AND LISTEN TO 💗🦋
That buffet was gorgeous!! I was so sad for you when you saw the sold sign 😱
What a fabulous place! One could spend hours there.🙂
I could just imagine how Beautiful that Hutch would look in your house.😍 Beautiful finds you bought.🦋
I love shopping with you. So many great items.
Omg!! That second quilt though!!😍😍
I love the shopping trip!
Yay just sat down for a cup of coffee. Perfect timing Julie.
I had a great time! Thank you for taking us along!
I think all the rattles are versions of maracas, an instrument used especially in Latin bands. The last ones you picked up were sitting on a piano keyboard so the booth owner may be in music world
I’m so glad you saved those quilts.
What a great haul!
Holy thrift haul! ❤👏🏻
I love the bell. It’s a apple. Love it.
I think the pattern on the little stool is called flame stitch
Love the whale!
That cabinet was beautiful!
The quilt and the wire angel are on point!!
I ABSOLUTELY LOVE watching your thrifting haul videos. I learn a great deal from watching you come across new finds. We aren’t 100% sure yet but may start an Etsy shop. I love all things to do with doing my own DIYS.
I have the greatest and Most Sweetest Boyfriend that loves to go find new places to Thrift at too
The stool is my favorite. I have one and the fabric is like a vintage floral tapestry. Love the Cotton Warehouse!
I enjoyed this video so very much! I loved the show & tell of your recent hauls & being along with you as you went thrifting in Batesville. 45,000 sq ft of treasures just waiting to be found! How fun! I look forward to your videos whether on Facebook or here on CZcams. I also enjoy your DIY videos. So many wonderful ideas and it's so fun shopping with you!
Wow I have that same rocking horse I bought in like the late 90s or early 2000s from a resell place, love it, it is on my fireplace now. Also, love those stick and ball maracas. and the wicker boat!
I really loved watching the antique mall haul. Hope you will do more of these. Thank You Julie :)
That rocking horse is mid century! Great find!
Some great finds and some beautiful vintage stuff. I like going shopping with you. That doll carriage was so cute. I love the wire angel and some other things you purchased.
Great hall and shopping trip Julie. I loved the iron rocking horse and the tall penguins or what ever they are. They are beautiful 😍 ❤ God bless
Love love the American flag basket. I have an aluminum pitcher just like that one. It either belonged to my grandmother or my great grandmother.
I really liked the iron horse very different!
Great score on the quilts! -Sharon
Great haul Julie. Wish we had a place like that indoor Flea market near us! I think my favorite item today was the boat basket.
Adore that weird little iron horse!
Wow you found some great stuff, I love the wicker ship you got xxx
Love ur video's Julie!! Can't wait till Fri be safe god bless 🙏
Basket boat my favourite! I wish we have some shops in Perth not easy to find stuff like that people not value vintage here unfortunately but I absolutely love your videos
I really need that little green sewing box in my life ( I do have a large wooden vintage one however )
Such aamazing pieces! I don't know how you restrained yourself!
OMG I have been looking for the glass globe light covers for a year and can't find them!! That is one of my favorite videos EVER lol!! I was obsessed--and still am!! Great video as usual!!
Lots of goodies
I’ve been to that Flea Market. It’s amazing.
oh my word, would you look at that place !! so awesome!!
I love your haul from 2 of my favorite places Goodwill and the bins. Those trees are made from pantyhose.
I have a truck made from woven grass like that Swiss Family Robinson boat AND I have that glass boat jar too! I will post both of them on your Facebook page.
Hi Julie, loving all your videos. The shabby blue handled box is a sewing box from the 40s era. I have a similar one
I need to move lol where I live the items at my good will aren’t very good and the antique store prices are probably double or more than the prices you showed today at the Cotton Warehouse. But anyway I love your channel and you are very inspiring love ya 🥰😊😁
That white ceramic Christmas tree with the red birds tho ❤❤❤
Your daughter's thumbs up for the hello fresh was soooo cute! 😍 & love that your son is into cooking! My nephew was like that and he decided to go to cooking school and is now a sous chef in a fancy restaurant and loves it. Maybe you have a future chef too?
You must have more polite teachers than we have in Colorado. Ours says if you're going to get me something cash or gift cards, please. I have enough trinkets. I just get them the joy of my children now
I have a Black Mammy bank also...she was broken and made out of chalk but I put her back together and repainted. I am sure her value is gone but I love her the best of all my collection.
Still wanting a cookie jar. Thank you Julie.
I found that cookie jar at a local thrift store for $5.99 and I love it so much!
Let's see you in the hat Julie 🎉
Oh my gosh, so much great stuff! I liked the grain sack bag, the brown footed planter, the carved oval wood tray, the wood jewelry box, and the silver salt and pepper shakers! I also loved the bird cloche, but I don't know if you grabbed that or not. I can't wait until your December sale!
I would love to shop there!
Just wanted to say that at the cotton warehouse, alot of the vendors will consider offers on their items. I love thrifting with you at the bins and estate sales!
Hey Julie I think it would be fun if you did a cooking video and showed us what you make with the things you got from hello fresh
I’m supposed to be crafting right now but just have to watch your video.
Absolutely loved the whale and the birds. Wonder if you can remove the paint from them...
I found the same deer the other week
"Gourd" rattles
Y'all is not a word
Julie, I had just posted on my hometown’s Facebook page about those little composer statues! 😳 I received several for attendance in my church’s children’s choir back in the 60’s! How do you suggest these be displayed? I cherish them. Thank you❤
As usual loved your video. I am curious if you and your subscribers think there is a “best” day to visit the bins?
Have you checked the doll for being double sided using a bonnet to hide different color hair? Not sure but I had a doll similar growing up ...
The white (wreath?) behind you, where did you find it?
The basket on the left next to the brass/metal basket you picked up at 28:03 looks like a sweet grass basket. If It is, it is valuable. Look it up. They were made in the Low Country. Let me know if you go back and get this.
not holly hobby . those are called Sunbonnet Sue.
That is a cornbread press
Did you say… angel mama, it’s an aunt Jamima… lol
no, i say it more like "an-jamama" lol
@@JuliesDesignsandSigns That Aunt Jemima bank was a very excellent find!!!!!! Amazing!
@@JuliesDesignsandSigns your accent translates on CC as "angel mama" 😆
@@angelaspicer2753 well that don't count, they never get my words write 🤣 i cant even do the talk options on google, it never understands what I'm saying
Aunt Jemima
Angel
They are pantyhose and wire. You can create so many things with them.
Little doll with odd hair just needs a bonnet.
