So in one month you did a revenue of 60K and net profit 10K.. so you paid almost 50k on ads.. i think this is an important piece of info that you should highlight coz most of your audience will think that if they copied you and put $250 ads they wud sell..
Not all 50k is on ads, some of it is COG. All in all his margins is 20% which is pretty standard in dropshipping if you run ads. Also, obviously he didn’t get to 20k+ ad spend overnight. The whole point of it is to scale slowly from a beginner with $50 daily spending limit on Facebook, achieve a good ROAS dependent on your margins, and scale up slowly with the profit earned
@@jordankersg Don't you have to pay for the ads upfront though and hope for sales? Obviously start small and then scale up the ads but how long does it take to get paid out so you can pay off the Ad spend? (if spending on a CC)
@@bballa211 depends what country you’re selling to and what’s your Shopify store location. For eg I’m selling to US but my store location is SG so the payout period is 2-4 days. Whereas if you’re from US / Canada & selling to US it only takes max 2 days

Only thing I ask for future videos is maybe to slow down a bit lol its amazing how quickly you are able to deliver such valuable information, but its a bit difficult to follow as a newb. I had to pause and rewind the video many many times and even slowing the speed down to .75% it was still too fast lol. But no hard feelings this was pure platinum material none-the-less!

I downloaded a video from an aliexpress listing and made the gif using ezgif.com.
For the other photos I sourced them from an aliexpress listing as well!

When you open your shopify stores, do you use a virtual addess, PO Box, or your home address?
Hey Tay, awesome stuff! In the testing phase, do you make high quality imagery on the product page like this or do would you wait to validate the product first then invest more time?
It really depends with how confident i am with the product. But for quick testing, i will just try to find the best quality images i can find from aliexpress/alibaba (unedited) and just use those first.
If i find out my ad works and i’m getting clicks/purchases, then i’ll put in more effort like i did in this video

That’s always the goal when designing your store! And yes, the prompts can work with GPT-3.5, but i recommend GPT-4 for better results

Tbh, i just recommend using an app like UpCart for upsells (with cart drawer, not atc page) and Aftersell + Klaviyo for post purchase upsells. That’s all i use.

You really can’t go wrong with either. But If you want something really simple and straightforward, go with Zendrop.
Good stuff brother, subbed! Mind sharing how much of the 60k was profit in the end? I imagine a lot went to CoGs, Paid Ads and so on! Too many kids hyping up their numbers 1 mil revenue here and there and end up being 9k profit
