I know this reply is REALLY late, but that's a frisbee icon. it replaces your mallet with a frisbee. however, it's quite week until you power it up- in most cases the mallet is better.
quite a few animations and sound effects remind me of mickey mouse and the castle of illusion on sega master system were they made by the same company?

This game was one of the first I ever played and I never passed stage 3 ...

@videogamer810 It's the frisbee, a weapon alternative to the hammer, but in the end the hammer is much more usable, at least in my opinion.
@VegasPoker To be honest, I don't know, though they indeed share a lot of similarities, so it is possible.
