Great video. We stayed up all night to marvel at it in LA, but it dipped behind some clouds, then some trees, so we drove around to keep finding it. It's always well worth the effort to be intrigued, inspired and full of wonder & appreciation. Thanks, Griffith Observatory. We miss watching the sky with you & look forward to gazing through your amazing telescopes again.

I went outside, clouds look clear but can't see the rising red moon. And it was raining near my area so back to check on live

This is the part of the moon's surface that is not in the earth's shadow, and is getting light directly from the sun as it would normally.
People and science will tell you its the sun. But there's a lot left unanswered with this scenario. Have you ever seen the clouds around the moon at ight, there are lit up from the glow of the moon, only the clouds around the moon that is. So im led to believe that the sun doesnt make any of the clouds glow, only when its reflection bounces off the moon they glow. Yeah right. More BS to fool the masses. And also was it a multiple event? Because it happened here in Australia then hours later it happened again with people in the U.S. seeing it, then in India and so on.

Were there any photages on the Moon to demonstrate its view of what happened? Any rovers?...we need eyes on the Moon as well, like in the polar point areas, perhaps a nice rugged super telescope, at leat 7x JWebb (mirrors) in size. Like a solar orbit station with 2 side eyes
Ya estyubid, it will look like solar eclipse on earth when sitting on moon, but will look reddish orange.
@John K of a hand held common size device, it make sense they never did, astriods/bolders/rocks hale down almost mach 3. The Soviet cosmonauts back then, figured that out the HARD way, even dicovering the Earth re-entry issues. It is true, a bulk rugged device wasn't impossible. Since the controversy of the Apollo "20." Nothing was left to observe on the surface since.
@John K It seems John, you haven't seen any of the pictures taken by the Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter, which has been taking detailed pictures of the moon's surface from lunar orbit, since 2009?

These clouds are earth clouds of course, and are simply passing in front of the moon as it's been viewed.

@@EZ-qg7hp I used to live in a area with pretty heavy light pollution and you can see lunar eclipses jsut fine or should be able to I saw the September 2015 December 2010 April 2015 and October 2014 eclipses there with no issue

Super moon just means that it’s the closest to Earth and flower just means it’s in May. Each month has its own name for the moon. So it someone says that it’s a flower moon, that just means that it’s in the month of May.

@@sailorman8668 Since I gave my life to Jesus 7 years ago I’ve always had many messages from him. I dreamt of the blood moon this morning and I’ve dreamt about it once or twice before. Blood moons are warnings from God. I’ve had at least 100 dreams from God. The end time signs are all around us.

You are correct brother. Though I think this in an of itself is not a sign. Revelation does describe the moon not giving her light, but it also says the sun will be darkened and stars will fall from Heaven, and then Jesus will return and the whole world will see him. And before that happens many other things will happen as well.
