Bharat Bhushan was born on June 14, 1920 in Meerut, Uttar Pradesh, India. He was an actor and writer, known for Gateway of India (1957), Mirza Ghalib (1954) and Shri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu (1954). He died on January 27, 1992 in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India. Daughter Aparajita is also a actress. She worked mostly in films during the 1990's. She is best known for her role in the TV serial Ramayan. She essayed the role of Raavan's wife. She is now based in Kondva Pune. She has disconnected from the film industry and lives her life in spirituality.
