Is SMMA saturated?
You’ve probably seen this topic raised a million times by now or at least similar renditions to it;
‘SMMA is dead’
‘SMMA is saturated’
‘SMMA no longer works’
You get the drift.
The truth of the matter is that most of the people that claim it’s saturated either have failed in it or are trying to sell you an alternative to fill their own pockets.
From my personal experience, I can wholeheartedly say that the concept of SMMA being ‘saturated’ is a heap of garbage.
There are an abundance of businesses & markets who are in dire need of your services within this space.
I’m proof of that.
I literally built & scaled a 7-Figure agency (Northflow Consulting) in one of the most saturated niches ever; GYMS!
So when people tell you SMMA is saturated, it’s usually translation for ‘I failed in SMMA so I’m going to blame the business model rather than myself’ or ‘I’m going to bring down this model & use it as a stepping stone to sell something else’
Pick your poison.

It doesn't matter because the people who believe or are influenced to think that this scene is saturated don't have the mental discipline to grow a proper business with this model.

I have decided to start video editing, shorts, adding captions agency. Generally making media. What I would recommend DO NOT OVERTHINK, start doing. Yesterday I decided to take actions. I posted on facebook groups, sent DM's etc, and guess what. I ve got my first client, I am making captions for his videos. First 30$ already on my account. And the best thing that it is DAY ONE. It's only the start, but the start is most important.
UPDATE, I signed a client for 100$/10 shorts a week, I delivered him videos, wish me luck he will want a long cooperation😄

Football is the most saturated sport in todays world, yet every single day thousands and thousands of new kids start training it. Will every single one of them make it? The obvious answer is no. Same thing is with this business model.
Do you think almost anyone can succeed with a SMMA if they work hard and long enough?
@@JJ-xf8xg Working hard and long isn't going to guarantee you success. There are far more factors than this that contribute success. But they are definitely one of the major factors. You always have to adapt to the problems and you always have to be ready to learn new things. Then you will be unstoppable. Combine adaptability and hard work and you are golden my friend. Nothing can or will ever stop you.
@@letsgoooooo1 Thanks man, I appreciate the motivation. I’m working a 9-5 right now but want to do SMMA on the side and eventually be able to quit my current job. Would cold calling and cold emailing be possible past business hours? Like in the evening and weekends is really the only time I’ll be available unfortunately.
@@JJ-xf8xg Cold calling past business hours doesn't really make sense since no one will pick it up. I would focus on cold emails and instagram/facebook/linkedin outreach if I was in your position where my job is not allowing me to work on business hours.

If you're UK based make sure you find the correct W-8EN form. I think that's the right name. The US has tax treaties with a number of countries so you pay local taxes. ( I am not a tax attorney or accountant so I might be wrong)

In a saturated space, you will have to work harder for potentially less pay than in an unsaturated space. In other words, there are better opportunity vehicles that you can use to get the greatest leverage of your time. As Warren Buffet once said, it doesn't matter how fast you row, it matters what boat you're in.
Whether it’s oversaturated or not, it’s still easier to make money in an even less saturated market like longform content. I’ve been making videos documenting my process making an agency like this

I have a web agency I’ve done hundreds of cold emails and I got no meetings booked AND got like 10 replies. I am not saying that to say it impossible or saturated. I want to know how should I do it?

Cold emails don't work and that's a fact, the only outreaching strategy that worked for me is cold calling, FYI I'm an owner of a 4 figure SMMA
