    I'm getting trained up on fridges next week. As for the migrants, the problem in fridges is there's no oxygen, they're air tight without any ventilation as the temperature would drop.

    Is it more cost-effective to run the trailers with an electrical supply (where possible) or with the diesel engine? Do they run quieter using electric?

    • @Raul689
      @Raul689  Před 3 lety

      Yes They have special bays to load the double deckers. The ramp goes up all the way to the top deck

      @@jamiemonaco4944 I know it's late but I can provide more info since I used to load them before driving myself.
      Usually on the double decker trailers the internal deck can go up/down, not all of them are like this but a majority are. In that case you will lower the deck down - near the headboard you may have to load around 6-8 pallets and bring the deck back up to put the pallets there, as sometimes that part of the trailer does not move (it's different for each trailer, some do have decks that go up/down, some don't). After that you will repeat the process for the section under the place where you just put the first few pallets. After that it's just a case of loading the top deck, raising it and then loading the bottom deck.
      In situations where the deck is static and doesn't go up or down, you have to load it via the tail lift which takes ages, as you are taking up 1-2 pallets each time, repeat that for 50-52 pallets and viola 😃
