LOWER ETOWAH RIVER FISHING | Hardin Bridge To Neel's Landing | Kingston, GA

This documents the 6 miles float from Hardin Bridge (556 Hardin Bridge Rd, Kingston, GA) down to Neel's Landing (11 Macedonia Rd Kingston, GA), also known as 411. It took approximately 7.5hrs fishing, mostly mild rapids, good for beginners.
This is a dam controlled section of the Etowah. Always look at generation schedules and call the morning of. The day of this float on April 20th they were not generating until 1pm, which gave us several hours after release before the water would reach our put in.
This is a diverse section of river with many species of fish present. On this float I was able to hook up with White Bass, Alabama Spotted Bass, and a Coosa (redeye) Bass.

Definitely do! Very kayaker friendly with ramps at several locations down there
