That shift that you speak of at 3:15 is not natural because of the suspension. Your “dealer” gave you a lazy answer. There's a bolt that needs to be tightened near the shaft.
Thank you for watching! Ok, I will look into that! My dealer was Eevees and they forwarded me a video of the wheel they have at their store on Vancouver and it was doing exactly the same movement. I have seen several users with the same problem. Thank you for your input!
@@mexwheeler7002 it doesn't mean it was correct. I've seen a batch come in with the same problem. eevee’s seems to have a good reputation therefore you may have contacted them before they knew of the issue.
@@RocABye yea exactly! Hey can you send me a pic of the bolts I should check. By any chance or give a more detailed description.. this would be incredible useful for the community!
@@RocABye would love pics and more info on this aswell
@@mexwheeler7002 I’m going to get my tire changed this week at AlienRides. Once my wheel is apart I can then show you.
Golden tip about the tyre pressure... thanks for that !
Thank you for watching! Great that you find it useful . According to my readings the tire is good for lower PSI as I mentioned. However, I wonder how exposed is the rim in this case..
@@mexwheeler7002 Yeah, probably not a good idea to be doing up-kerbs and loads of steps with pressure that low. But I figure that is a small price to pay for having a really comfy and planted feel for regular riding, and we can always jack it up and save our rims for 'trick days' ! :)
@@Jaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay totally agree. I prefer to have control. In the end I prefer damaged rim than me losing control and end up in the ground 😂😂😂😂
You are doing a great job. Keep going, love your videos!!!
Thank you for watching and for the support !
i think its crazy that you worry about the wheel taking damage in a crash, but not your hands and wrists
Thank you for watching! Good point, I do use wrists guards, just not when I do recordings( bad gamble to be honest). As for the damage on the wheel it is because a simple drop can cause repairs.
@@mexwheeler7002 👍
Wrist guards are one of the most important pieces of gear.
Awesome 😎 thanks brother!!🙏
Thank you for watching!
I imagine a impermeable sack would be enough to protect your euc incase of 🌧 and still beeing able to ride it at low speeds.
Thank you for watching! I don’t know to be honest. My concern is seal of the mother board mainly where the motor connects to it. I am researching if there is a way to silicone all around to make it water resistant just in case of little rain.
The reason the suspension pressure was lower after double checking is because some of the air goes into the tube and equalizes to a lower level. The suspension pump should loose at most 2psi after unscrewing it and the sound of leaking air is just air coming out of the tube itself. Also did you end up figuring out the shift back and forth?
Thank you for watching! No unfortunately I haven’t find the bolt that fix that. I took out the pedals and pads to tighten the bolts. There are 7 volts on one side. And 6 on the other( motor cable is on this side). The next step would be to take out the battery and tighten the screws of the suspension.. :(
The CST knobby gets a lot of hate but I love it, I have it on my EX-N and Msx100v and i do about 90% street 10% offroad, also really like the sound of it, I keep mine around 25psi
Thank you for watching! Yes, the PSI is the magic. I tried 25 also and it worked good too.
@@mexwheeler7002 absolutely, i forgot to mention im about 25lbs lighter than you so im sure the feel is pretty similar.
@Begodecrashtestdummy wow you definitely put some miles on it, Alienrides has the CST-186 knobby in stock. eevees also has them, they are in canada but ship to the U.S
My master is coming with the kenda street tire.
Thank you for watching! That is so cool, let us know how it drives!
@@mexwheeler7002 hope to have it Tuesday, long before my grizzla pads system gets here though.
great review! have you had any problems with bottoming out , like when going off a curb?
Thank you for watching! Not really, but Also I am heavy. Maybe my weight is a factor :)
I really think that was a case of people under pumping their shocks in early reviews. Everyone was in the 300 or less range because the stock pump that comes with it, and lack of instruction from bee god. But they should have been over 300psi with all the data we have now. Most of them at like 350PSI but they were sub 300. Big difference there. Of course there is still room for improvement.
Good work! What kind of helmet do u have and what kind do u want?
Thank you for watching! I had a mountain bike helmet and now I have a motorcycle one!
Avoid horrible crash damage by leashing it !
Yes, I have seen users doing that. Looks useful in most cases, but In a high speed crash does the wheel would be able to pull you over.. That is my only worries jeje
@@mexwheeler7002 Yes I worry about that too, but if your gear is good, and you're goin' down anyway...
What city are you riding in? It looks beautiful.
Thank you for watching! I am in Montreal, Canada!
Я сначала подумала это Понасенков
Thank you for watching! On instagram I got a comment that I look like Elon musk🤔🤔
