- A recipe excerpt from all new Raw Food Made Easy revisited DVD featuring Jennifer Cornbleet as host. Jennifer juices a variety of vegetables and fruits with Green Star Elite GSE-5000 to make a healthy super green juice.
Interesting.
It appeared that the pusher wasn't even necessary for the kale or the celery!
it's the julia childs of juicing. so cute.
At 1:50 ; saying that the Greenstar is easy to clean is a lie. I have one and I know that its large filter (or screen) needs a helluva good brushing to dislodge the fibres that are stuck in the holes under high pressure.
I am not complaining though since the quantity and, most importantly, the quality of the juice is exceptional! Clearly superior to any single auger juicer. (Centrifuges are not even worth mentioning!!!)
I noticed that if you clean the filter IMMEDIATELY after juicing (before even drinking the juices, before it even begins to dry) or if you let it soak in lukewarm water 30 minutes or more, it is much easier to brush clean.
The filter is easy to clean
to me and many people.
Takes not even a min to
get it sparkling. No one’s
lying u’r just incompetent
@@falsehoodbasher7240 "u’r just incompetent"
Ad hominem are the last resource of those without valid arguments.
Instead of insulting people without any proof you are more competent than they are, why don't you explain how you do it that fast? It would certainly be more useful!
At 9:47 : peeling the lemon is truly not necessary. The peel of a clean fresh organic lemon is non toxic and rich in minerals and antioxydants.
It has oils in it
Essential oils
are sourced
from peels
of citruses.
And some
folks may
not want
to ingest
oils with
their juice.
Tribest is a good company. I own their Slowstar vertical juicer. But the best juicer is still the Norwalk.
+Uncle Bernie
Check out the Pure juicer -- it's an improvement on the Norwalk design (no blow-back for one thing) that costs a bit less. On the Norwalk, you aren't supposed to operate the hydraulic press more than 10 seconds at a time. This is no problem for carrots, but for wetter stuff, like soft fruits and grapes, 10 seconds ain't nearly long enough. The Pure removes this limitation. I guess the Norwalk patent has expired, because the Pure is obviously a tweeked Norwalk.
the angel pro is actually the best juicer. It beat Norwalk in every category. I just bought the green Star pro
How is Norwalk The best juicer
when The Tribest literally does
Norwalk’s two stage internally
AND adding another (third) step
and it’s all internal while Norwalk
needs us to do it MANUAL?!? I
think you’re talking in ignorance
@@richardgray8593 sorry but they both
kickback. PURE AND Norwalk owners
joke about foodstuff on their ceilings
that they think is cute or something.
Nasty. The Tribest keeps mY space
spotless how I like it. AND it does a
THREE step process, one step above
PURE and Norwalk, and administers
these steps internally so that users
only have to do one step, whereas
The Norwalk and PURE require you
to MANUALLY work The two steps
your damn selves lol. Whatta joke.
I was about to get a PURE but held
back due to The disgusting foodstuff
that’s about to be on mY ceiling and
got The Tribest instead and so glad
I did. John did a vid comparing The
Tribest to your Norwalk/PURE and it
won hands down. On all counts. All.
@@falsehoodbasher7240 Tribest beat the PURE on all counts, hands-down? Nonsense. I remembering him saying in one video that the PURE does not blow back like the Norwalk. I have both a Norwalk and a Tribest Greenstar. The Norwalk gets better yield and is easier to clean, but the first time I used it, I had carrots all over my ceiling. I don't use the Norwalk for most things because the grinder literally heats up the produce and causes more oxidation than the Greenstar. Norwalk is now out of business (due to PURE competition, I would imagine), and even though the PURE is a much-improved knockoff of the Norwalk, I still would not buy one because one thing they have not improved is the oxidation of the produce with the two-step manual process.
she is no John Kohler
For long-time John kohler fans like me, I get his essence even though he keeps rambling for 2 hrs ! See we long-time fans know how to extract the key msg in each of his videos. His videos may be marketing-related, but they are much much more, it's about Nutrition in general !

What
Lol
I like her. She is cute.
So inspiring. John is
informative but that’s it.
Yes because I want to spend 45 minutes of my day juicing 30 dollars of veggies to make 2 servings. What a joke.
No! YOU are the joke here! I do own a Greenstar and I can tell you it does not take 45 minutes to make a juice. And, if making 1 serving takes 20 minutes (including cleaning) it won't take 40 minutes to make 2 servings and 60 minutes to make 3 servings!!! Furthermore, the juices from a Greenstar cannot be compared to those of a centrifuge! You can make juices for 3 or 4 days, pour them in Mason jars to the rim (to leave no room for the air) and put them in the fridge.
$30 will make much more than 2 servings.
Excuse me. Two LARGE servings.
It’s actually 4 normal size servings.
Go eat your Cheetos! No one cares
@@tahititoutou3802 right? Less than
3 apples gives me a full 8oz (1)
regular sized serving of juice! I
clean at The end of The day, so
I do not clean EACH time. And
I drink 24-64 oz of juice per day
in 8oz servings. I’m always soo
amazed how little produce gets
me each serving! Luv this juicer
