I’m not sure if I like Emily’s acting choices. But it’s almost always a case of standbys or even understudies - they need to play their roles more often to have it look„natural”.

Thats okay! Everyone’s allowed to have their opinions and I‘m gonna keep this comment up because you expressed yours respectfully and so I can drop this under your comment:
This video was taken only 9 days after her debut so finding new ways to characterise Glinda is only natural. And even if it weren’t, many people have said that going on for a role they haven’t covered in a while (be it a few months or even just a few weeks) feels like another „first show“ so do take that into consideration aswell. I personally loved Emily and was so grateful to have gotten her as Glinda and I hope more stuff comes out of her when she’s more settled into the role so that this video isn’t the only thing people can see to make an opinion of her :))

just saw her tonight and imo she was amazing as Glinda, she was ofc good in this video but tonight all her acting and jokes were just so perfectly executed,, they were more "polished" per se, but overall she was just outstanding,, from the singing to the acting, just perfect
