After you make the payment for linking your PAN card and Aadhaar Card, there is one more step.
After 5-7 days of making payment, again visit "eportal.incometax.gov.in/iec/foservices/#/pre-login/link-aadhaar-status"
Now, go to "Home" page, click on "Link Aadhaar". Enter your PAN and Aadhaar card details and click on Validate.
If you see a notification stating "Your PAN is already linked to given Aadhaar", then your linking process is done. But, if it again shows you a notification with "Continue to pay through e-pay tax", then wait for a few more days and check again.

Poor customer service in groww account
For users of Jammu & Kashmir, Assam & Meghalaya- it's not mandatory to link Aadhaar and PAN card as these states are exempted from it.
Are you very sure about this because I have talked to some brokerage firm and also with with nsdl pan portal they said that I need to link the pan and aadhaar to use their services if you guys don't mind clearing this up would be great help as the penalty fees is also little high .

Ye half process hi dikhaya hain uske baad firse link adhaar main jana padega and pan adhaar se login karna padega uske baad name aur mobile number usme daal na padega and OTP Dena padega uske baad agar adhaar pe year of birth hain toh usme check box main click karna padega aur agree ka check box click karke link karana padega uske 1- 2 din time lagega pan adhaar link ho jayega

After Payment,there is an another Step to be done
The payment made at e-Pay tax/ NSDL (now Protean) takes few days to reflect at the e-Filing portal, so taxpayer is advised to attempt raising PAN-Aadhaar linking request after 4-5 days of making payment.

Noo it is only mandatory for adults or youngsters who wants to transact more than 50000 per month or invest and senior citizens don't need to do it

I followed the steps from your video without listening to it fully first. I have a problem. While following your video I made the payment for ₹1000/- and got a E-Challan receipt, but as I proceeded with your video I noticed that the last date for payment was 31 March 2023 and I paid it today on 18 December 2023. Please advise if I will still get my Aadhar and PAN card linked in the next 5 to 7 days time. If not what action I should take. Thank you very much for your video, which was very helpful.
Some of my friends just submit the aadhar & pan details in bank but still trading peacfully ..so there is no such deadline .or any compulsion ..
Its just like the previous madate of govt of linking mobile number biometric with aadhar and people pay 50-100 to link it immediately
