I’ve watched the do this maybe a dozen times in the last few months. They do it exactly the same, even down to the head nods and other body gestures. I guess it’s like a rocket launch. There is one right way to do it and a thousand wrong ways. You do it the same way every time to make sure you do it the right way.
And that’s awesome they let Lutz help start the engine. That’s over the top.

Hi, love the content, I wondered what data they can get when they start the cars up in the pit areas?
I did ask on Brent`s channel I think it was, what can Clay see when he uses that little mirror during pit start up tests.
Clay has done some Q&A's on his channel & he said he uses the mirror to see the rear tires to make sure they're turning & he has said that they fire it up in the pit to make sure everything is working like it should mechanical & electronic, plus making sure there are no leaks & get some heat into the engine prior to the run because it's a fresh rebuild on every run. Hope this answered your questions.

At first I thought Jimmy O had got it TOO wet, when backing up after the burnout. Then I remembered, "Oh yeah, Florida". Cars always look too fuel wet(rich) in Florida. That Gulf Coast air gets fat real quick. Jim o seen that and loaded it up, for a test. Nice Lick!,, and on the Birthday. Congrats to Taska III,, for Getting the 341 mph TF top fuel speed ever recorded, on this day,,, but I think that might fall again this year. Nice work Jeff, I think you might like this.
