Yep, have two MDCI full bottles, Invasion Barbare and this one. My favorite AMBER. Yes, it's more of an amber than a Chypre, but it is a complex hybrid.

I couldn’t help but noticing that you had the Invasion Barbare [Bust Included] in this video as well as a previous one.... According to my archaic memory, didn’t award a bottle of Invasion Barbare to a newbie reviewer waaaaaaay back in the day…?!?! It was a series with a name like “Fragrance Idol” and I think Coach Rob or someone ended up winning it.... Bro, you shelled out another $375…!?!?! Ballin’ Marc, bro you gangsta all the way..... By the way, being fluent in French really enhances how you present frags like this one- PERFECT pronunciation.....🤙🏼🤙🏼
Right now on my fragrance journey this is my favorite fragrance of all time. I am very surprised that you are barely getting your nose on this one its a masterpiece. To me this is the definition of the art of perfumery in a bottle.
I like this one a lot. For some reasons the initial blast reminds me of fresh olives. Still think Invasion is better, but this one is without doubt second best for me. You should check out Belle Helen....best pear scent in the game
netweed09 My general feel on MDCI is that they are like stuck in the 1800s...their scents just are not modernized enough for me, and the prices are like cuckoo for Cocoa Puffs. If you’re someone who really loves the “classic” vibe and have a lot of money to blow tho than you’d prob like them. At one point I had a bottle of Ambre Topkapi and it was nice enough, but I ended up trading it. I’ll have to check out what you mentioned, ty!

Can you make a review of Cuir Garamante too? It's my favorite from MDCI, and IMO, the best leather rounded frag.

Yes, I agree. But imo, Belle Helene is better than Pear and Olives, it is a feminine classed scent though (florals)
