How does that seem boring?? You are giving them things you prefer. They would prefer probably wildly hunting and eating random animals. But I don't think they care at all. They're not humans. They eat whatever you give and they didn't have to work for.

Pawtree did it first, they sell pet food seasonings that are for both dogs and cats! My pup loved them.

With 3% equity good luck getting Lori to market this product. She's acting like a bank. She will get all her money back no matter what happens to the business plus 25 cents per unit for ever. It's a leach-y deal. Mark asked for 25% because he wants to scale up the business.

To counter Maria's point, after a while of feeding your dog the same dog food, they somehow lose a little interest in it. So adding new flavors, instead of looking for an entirely new brand or something, every now and then would help out a lot too.
I’ve always had dogs and cats. This stuff sounds great. My pups definitely get bored of dry kibbles (always some left out to munch) and stinky wet food. I often boil chicken breasts for them or boil hamburger meat to brighten their day. I’d try this product.
Cats don’t need this, sprinkle cat nip on their food. Usually works.
I'd argue that cats do need this. Many cats don't react to catnip at all. Mine ignores the stuff. You're also just eliciting a pheromonal response which while may be euphoric to some cats isn't really the same as feeding them something tasty that they'll enjoy.

Lots of pets need enticement to enjoy their food more (noticed this a lot in older pets with chronic kidney disease, in particular) and this is a stellar solution for achieving that without deviating too much from their controlled diet (which is extra important because these patients often are on prescription foods). This has useful medical implications, along with just being an awesome idea. And yeah anyone who thinks this won't take off underestimates dog owners lol, I have two pups and would absolutely collect all flavors!
Those prescription foods probably make them feel like crap. You give medicine to something that can't tell you how it makes them feel or effects them.
@@ASmith-jn7kf You're greatly underestimating the expressiveness of pets, the empathy and awareness of their owners and caretakers, and the objective usefulness of data (both from monitoring tests on a single patient, and data about overall patient outcomes at scale when given different treatment protocols). I assure you, a dog that is _not_ dying of their chronic kidney disease (for instance) is much, much more playful and happy and enjoying much greater quality of life than a dog that is. It doesn't take much time around them to see these differences.
Your values are great, it's awesome that you're concerned for the quality of life of pets. But your assumptions are totally misplaced and don't align with the overwhelming amount of factual evidence out there.

This is perfect for my picky grandparents who only eat mashed potatoes and soft foods all day. Sprinkling these seasonings on would be great.
I would buy this if my dog likes it. That’s way cheaper than adding soft food. Dogs can be picky.

It's when they don't drink water daily that you need to watch for problems. Dogs can safely go days without eating food.
For dogs that live in seasonal hot / cold climates, they instinctually cut back on consumption during hot months, because burning calories creates heat within their bodies.
I have a malamute, the breed is thousands of years old. I don't picture dogs calling up Domino's for dinner?

Your leftover olive oil, bacon grease, peas, green beans, carrots, chicken or beef bouillon, dinner scraps that are safe for your dog simmered in water a few minutes dumped on their basic dry food.
If you have to start getting into designer's foods for your dog? That's not a picky eater
- that's a human being trying to turn a dog into a human being.
Be careful - there's an awful lot of additives, preservatives, food fresheners that they don't have to list under the ingredients.
