Trading? Yes, probably. You would need to progress on 1 phone though i think. I recommend using PKHEX if you need to edit a save for a specific pokemon. Also, on pc, trading is possible too. Use VBA-M czcams.com/video/g4CweH_qNoM/video.html&feature=share7

Use paralell space or any app cloning app to clone your app, i use paralell space and add melonDS on it. Get the DS/DSI Bios, google it. Run both apps and splitscreen them, configure ui to be small and run your games.

How do you make melonds run so well on 32 bit phones?
Well, melonDS is demanding on 32 bit phones, i just recommend using Drastic for 32 bit devices. Although, you can use MelonDS on your laptop or pc
Sometimes multiplayer or download play fails their connection
Melonds has a new update on the play store, try that one
You actually don't need the special application, some phones have the "dual app" thing automatically
