Octopath Traveler 2 is direct sequel to Octopath Traveler and was released in 2023 for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Nintendo switch and pc. As with the original Octopath traveler, the sequel also features eight different characters. Each with their own story and the player is free to start with any of them. Compared to the first game, Octopath Traveler II has more interactions between the group but still lacks the dynamic of other party based JRPGs.
