Duncan, Parker, Ginobili are the spurs legends, Just one of the greatest trio's ever
Low-key Big 3
Glad to have witnessed it
championships > money thats what they did
*THE greatest trio ever. factual
Spurs was low key savages, a great dynasty, Ginobili should have gotten MVP
Sorry but no. Duncan set the tone by keeping the Wallace's busy killing them down low. Don't let his inefficient fg % full you he was outworking both Wallace's and getting put backs off his own misses. He was killing them down low and constantly putting them in found trouble. He absorbed all that physical contact on 2 sprained ankles. Ginobili feasted off of 1 on 1's or wide open lanes and shots. Also Ginobili played terrible on the road
This is probably the most underrated Finals ever.
gor9027 Dirk vs Miami most underrated
@@timd5109
Underrated? It's constantly praised as one of the biggest upsets of all time. It's rated perfectly.
Wheelio kiss my ass
Horry has ice in his veins. It's impressive how clutch this dude was. 7 titles and always being truly decisive. What a huge player!
This man speaks the truth! If not for Horry, this series only goes 6 games as the Pistons win 4 games to 2.
Ginobili's playmaking abilities are unreal.
Duncan was the leader
Ginobili was the engine
Parker was the artist
In my opinion,Ginobili was the artist and Parker was the engine.
and pop ??
@@diazlocc The mastermind?
@@diazlocc yep coach pop too, The second greatest coach ever imo tho
@@jstiles1659 2nd ? who's 1st ? Phil Jackson?
And that's why horry has 7 titles
Still a clutch ass player no taking away on that
@@micahhill4786 Ginóbili was more clutch.
Alexander Kings nobody is comparing bruh
Amazing, very underrated, player.
Horray got 2 with the Rockets 3 with the Lakers and 2 with the Spurs.
He said once I am fortunate to play with the best 3 big men in the NBA of their time.
He was talking about
Hakeem Al Alajwan. Shaquille O'neal, and Tim Duncan.
This series was so much fun to watch. Beautiful, smart, fundamental, strong defensive basketball. Something you won’t see now in the NBA
The defense in this finals was so tough
Hubey brown said it best when the clock hit 0.00 in game 7. "Tough tough though defense" something missing in this three soft era
Elton Francis why so butthurt man?
bro keep calm ahahah don't be angry
Elton Francis bruh this era had dominate bigs like Duncan and shaq... they would eat the warriors down low
@@whatswhat446 exactly. And hes underselling how good Tony and Manu were.
As my idol Manu Ginobili has retired now all i can do is go back to these flashbacks i got nothing but respect for that Pistons team 2 of the best defensive teams that 7 game series was magnificently awesome
better than Kobe in my opinion
@@MrBmick79 The Pistons certainly proved that in the 2004 NBA Finals, and the Spurs proved that in the 2003 NBA Western Conference Semifinals!
Oh yeah, that Pistons team of the 2000s was all ball. They made it to the Eastern Conference Finals eight years in a row from 2001-2008, back-to-back Finals in 2004 and 2005. Beat the heavily favored Kobe-Shaq-Karl Malone-Gary Payton Lakers in five games en route to Detroit's third championship in franchise history and their first in 15 years. And they gave the Spurs a real run for their money in '05 by winning Game 6 in San Antonio after the Spurs took Game 5 in Detroit. Classic professional basketball.
Yes gjnobilo better a littlebit than kobe
Mi idol too.. i miss Manu in the court.. you say all we can do see old games and remember that awsome player whit Bigeest hearts
Ginobili's pass at :24 looks so simple at first glance but it's actually ridiculous
Absurd is what it is.
Yah still not sure what he did or how did it lol
and it was in a nba finals, against ben wallace and rasheed
How can you start a game like that
Basically playing soccer out there
“Manu needs this for his confidence”-Hubie Brown. No Hubie, Manu was born with all the confidence he needed.
Well, but recall that Manu got his knee banged into during game 3 and was ineffective in that one and game four. So yeah, he did need to bounce back.
Tim Duncan 🐐
#GOAT
Manu Ginobili G.L.O.A.T.
The amount of great defenders in this game was incredible
One of the reasons this series was close
Rules allowed them to be great defenders. That is why I do not watch NBA today.
People don't know ever since Manu came to the league he's been the go to guy by Pop down the stretch until this 2018 playoffs vs Warriors crazy
this nba finals is better than the 4 straight meetings of cavs and warriors.
gerald gabad hell no 2016 was one of the most exciting finals ever
The 2016 Finals was one of the best series ever
2016 was definitely historic and had an awesome ending. Although none of them went to overtime and had a final shot in the final 10 seconds
2000-2014 was the golden era of NBA Basketball. legends have their own team and the league was a competitive sport. GSW and cavs domination era is no match at all, hell no
Dimas Arya Pradhana yeah, after the Spurs won their 5th title, the NBA started going to shit
Who else came here to see young manuuuuuu
papi yep
yeah...I miss his hair
🖐
heree
🖐
7:36 did manu just fix his hair? with 15 seconds left off an NBA final game 5? That dude IS cooooold!! Manu Clutch 4 life
Lmao!!
Manu was the true MVP of those Finals.
sasarasasarasa bullshit this finals wouldnt have been won if it wasnt for tim duncan controlling the tempo by beating the pistons forwards rasheed wallace and whomeverelse detroit threw at him and the game 5 heroics of big shot rob playboy and dont you ever forget that.
@TheSmokeydepot bullshit .duncan was the driving force behind that series and big shot rob horry saved your asses in pivotal game 5 so you and her are both wrong .and i spoke on this topic a few months ago where have you been on vacation ?
They don't care who got MVP they only want to win.
Should've been co-mvps
Nah his hair was lmao
Underrated KEY play of the game, Parker defense in Rip Hamilton on the last play...
Respect for the Legendary manu ☝👏👏👏💯
Man , this trio was amazing to watch for years and it’s a shame that Ginobili may actually retire .. cause of how yesterday it was reported on ESPN on twitter that he may impend retirement
bruce lau he did just today
Big Shot Bob should've been included in the title.
Thank you.
Rob
Besides Duncan I mostly remember his open 3's costing us that chip.
I was shouting after that shot next to my computer
Not sure why Parker was even mentioned......
This is a series no one ever talks about... Two teams that played supreme team ball that had won each of the previous two championships and it went 7! Underated series
Wow i miss this trio
One of the best NBA Finals I've ever seen
The greatest trio of all time
The best big 3 in my opinion starring TD21, MG20, and TP9.
I'm not upset at all but Manu should've been finals MVP. Manu was unstoppable, ask Tayshaun Prince he was torching Detroit basketball. Game 5 was so beautiful. Larry Brown tried telling them boys to watch the inbound passer. Oh well, shout out Tim Duncan. Go Spurs Go
Stop saying that.
Jesus Christ. This was a very good series. Every single possession both teams were playing with everything they had. And it was all about the defense. Both teams were historically great defensive teams. In the end, I have always maintained that home court advantage benefited the victor. Had the Pistons had that advantage, fate would have been written differently.
But they didn't
This series was a pure grind it out finals
I miss these three. One of the greatest big 3's of all time.
Ginobili was nasty
This game brings a lot of memory. I was at the bar near my place watching this game rooting for the Spurs.
Thank u so much house of highlights, finally some highlights of my favorite team from my favorite players
Basketball was so much more fun to watch back then. The dribble pull up 3 pointer for 50 straight possessions these days get old real quickly.
#LEGENDS
#THEBIGFUNDAMENTAL
#MREUROSTEP
#MRTEARDROP
Manu’s shot didn’t even fall all that well, but he went stupid in the paint in this game, he’s playing like he’s a 3 and crashing and slashing like an american player, the most adaptable player I’ve ever seen.
Greatest Big 3 of all time
BucketsBasketball bullshit your clearly a spurs fan
@Mr. Javier i could make out a whole list with my extensive badketball knowledge starting with my warriors durantula chef curry and killer klay but the draft is in a few days and im more interested in that then answering your questions from a debate that was posted months ago .
The unsung hero being Robert Horry Game 5
Best 7 game series in history ever!!
i agree,i agree,i agree.
@@samsungphone7579 agree agree agree
damn, time flies really fast .the chills and goosebumps still linger on me.
Watching these guys growing up was pure joy, they're all retired now but the memories will last forever
its just nice to see how the spurs adapt to their opponents. In the WCF they faced the phoenix suns of steve nash and those games were so fast Manu was destroying them. Here in the finals its all about defense and its so slow that nobody talks about these series right now. hahahaha
The defense in that series was incredible. I started watching NBA basketball seriously the season after the Finals and I regret not witnessing live! There are no games like that anymore
The dynamic trio of Manu Ginobili Tim Duncan and Tony Parker by Steve Irungu Jermaine
4th Quarter in and score ties in 67.. damn those defense
What a player Ginóbili was. Just incredibile.
Even the points made in the highlights are very contested.Every point was hard to make. wow!!
These two teams back then is my favorite team, detroit piston without all star and san antonio spurs big three
Manu was the real MVP of this finals !!!
Ginobiliiii!!!
This game was a dog fight. Both have scary defenses. Glad my Spurs won the title though lol. Manu is just crazy good
Back when the NBA had skilled players in every position. Now every player just shoots 3's.
Both teams were incredible that year. One of the best nba finals ever.
This version of Gino had superpowers. I remember watching this series on my last year of undergrad and thinking “this dude is a basketball superhero”…sort of like Afro Kobe
Hoping they made a documentary film about how Great this trio.
Even though the Spurs never won back 2 back, They were one of the greatest dynasties ever and sports fans & analysts still undermined them.
I know shoulda, woulda, coulda & if's and buts...but around this era. Spurs were just seconds or less from mistakes from having 5 championships from 2002 to 2007 with possibly winning 4 in a row. And having 6 in 8 years. With all the power houses that were in west, Spurs was the team of the 2000s, hands down.
Anybody else watching this because many retired
Can we get 10000 Subscribers without any content yep
Yeah man. I'm sitting here thinking this is it. The time has finally come when I'll watch highlights of my favorite three players ever and say, "those were the days." But it was a long time coming, hahahaha. Ima go cry now.
Love to see Layups and Jumpshots in that era
Horry was so clutch in this series. But that damn pass from Gino was out of this world.
I have great respect for both teams. Tough as nails and two of the most well-balance squads from the 2000s. My 2 favorite champs from the decade actually.
Great memories, beautiful basketball
KEEP DOING THESE VIDS YALL DOING
The first basketball game I ever watched. This game is probably why I am a Spurs fan to this day.
30+ years of watching the spurs and this game was the most tense game I ever watched
Ppl tend to forget how strong TD was. He was winning powep plays like the one on @5:20 against 2 great defenders.
Im a spurs fan to the heart....And let me say this..We did it are way...parker & munu...grew in to great champion
I remember the series really well as well as all their other series and although all the guys did great, including the bench players, got to get them credit there was no doubt mono really made the biggest difference they had absolutely no answer from Virgin nobody I mean he torched them throughout the whole series they just have no stopping him he was like the Argentinian version of Kobe
As a Spurs fan I respect that Pistons team tbh 👏
Te extraño Tim Duncan 😢🏀
Genios! !!!!!!!!! Gracias! !!!!! SA
This game had me on the edge of my seat. People forget while Duncan was doing work the last 3 min + overtime Duncan had like two crucial turnovers and about 5-6 missed shots. Robert Horry bailed Duncan out on what could’ve potentially have been a negative moment in his Top 10 All Time legacy. I never really blamed Duncan for this because my God the Wallace Brothers & McDyess were suffocating him ALL series.
Props to this upload brother the city went crazy when the boys got this W 🙏🏽 #GoSpursGo
Best trio plus robert horry and bruce bowen ilove the san antonio back in the day
I remember watching this on TV good old days
Orgullo nacional 🇦🇷🇦🇷🇦🇷
Back when the Nba still had some excitement, and competition. Never really liked Horry but if i needed a Three in crunch time I'd take Horry over Steph curry anyday.
R. Flash I agree!
Elton Francis Nope still taking Horry he didn't miss game winners trust me i watched all the playoff games of the 2000's era. If you left him open and you were late on the rotation he was draining it. Some players have a specific role and that was his role, he beat a couple teams i was rooting for in the playoffs by draining clutch 3's. Im talking clutch im not talking throughout the game jacking trickshot 3's up.
@Elton Francis What's your point superstars can make it happen no matter what. Ask Larry Bird or Jordan or Kareem.
@Elton Francis Kareem hit two free throws that ultimately won them game 6 of the 87 Finals and then they went on to win the Series in 7. Bird stole the ball from an inbounding Piston and hit a layup to steal a a game at home vs Detroit in the playoffs which ended up with them going to the Finals.
Why you hating on steph for sounds like a bitter old head lmao
Bro this are jus flat out stacked teams bro
reaaaallyy exciting game even if it's a replay
I miss these days
8:13 Good Job by Duncan for calling Timeout before stepping out of bounds
Such an amazing job on defense by Bowen against billups
Duncan, Parker, and Ginobili play in harmony, 1, 2, 3..and you have it.
Duncan was unstoppable in the paint. And Big Shot Rob was ridiculous as usual...
Legends all around. Dam we miss yall now TP last man standing
Yea for real. TP9 will likely last another year or tops 2 years and then hang it up. It's sad that he went to Charlotte. He'll always be a Spur to me.
After Last Dance they should
make a documentary about the Spurs dynasty Robinson,Timmy,Parker,Ginobili,Bowen,.
still gives me goosebumps everytime i see that shot by horry.
Them was the days
It's crazy to see ginobili with hair tho back then
Who else came here after Manu's jersey retirement?
The strenght of TD on the 76-77 basket. Horry was the unexpected hero of this game but look at how amazing still natural was Duncan game. And during this series he went against the Wallaces, two of the best big men defenders not only of that era.
Top five greatest Finals game
the reason why I become a Spurs fan, dat was absolutely a tight one
It’s satisfying to see their team work
That’s why I like spur : )
good hard playoffs basketball!!!!
2:30 the beautiful game
Manu te extraño!!
horry is the most clutch player in nba history, not james, not mj
Sco uTnT statistically they are jordan and joe johnson
Agree!!
fuck horry he thinks is a big deal, he insult duncan.
He was lucky to play with Hakeem, Shaq, Kobe, and Duncan
@@wuliwei6939 he saved them from numerous Championship losses hahaha I said those guys are lucky to have Horry on the team
Kobe and shaq couldn't but Duncan could
Duncan ended the Lakers 3peat
Them’ s was the days!
Lendários 😎
Gooooo Spurs 🏀😎
El mejor basket que vi the Spurs
Manu is an artist
