- For the month of September, 4ocean is partnering with Monterey Bay Aquarium to help protect sea otters off the California coast.
Monterey Bay Aquarium's Sea Otter rescue program has been a critical effort in repopulating this species, which was brought to the brink of extinction during the fur trade. Watch this video to see how the team is helping this charismatic and important species.

I'm not going to lie I'm glad a lot of aquariums like this do take care of these amazing fluffy animals of the sea I will see this I've seen a lot of videos were other otters do attack each other or even their pups to negotiate for food or I can guess even mating but I think it's due to the hostile environment that they are basically thrown into and also for the sake of their survival as well so I'm glad that a lot of people like this do their best to take care of these fluffy adorable otters
I have been to monterey bay aquarium and i went to the sea otter program they really do so much for these otter’s
As a kid, im always cleaning our house and taking care of my plants. We us humans should save the environment because if we throw something at the ocean like a plastic bottle,etc the fish will think its a food and eat it.

Quick question, what happens to all the trash that you don't or can't use in the making of your products?
@Donovanhughes All of the trash we collect is carefully sorted through and everything that can be recycled, is recycled. In South Florida, the rest is brought to Solid Waste Authority, the most efficient and lowest emission facility in the country, to be incinerated into energy. In Bali and Haiti, we're storing the non-recyclables for use in a future project!

If sea otters go extinct kelp forests population with decrease since sea otters eat sea urchins and sea urchins eat kelp but because there were no sea otters kelp forests will decrease
