@@meds6761 It can. Knowing someone from childhood doesn't make it raw or stronger. I would know as I slipped away from my friends because they no longer treated me as a friend. Haley and Brooke were a healthier, stronger, and better friendship than Peyton was to Brooke.
@@daniellew.9447 Exactly. Friendships from childhood won't necessarily be stronger just because of the memories and feelings growing up as Friendships change as do people.
Sometimes childhood Friendships are just that and some get to develop more meaningful friendships when they are older. Doesn't take away from those childhood Friendships and what they meant at the time however they can also be just for that particular time in your life but you still cherish them.
I think why others may be drawn more to the Brooke and Haley Friendship is that it was just about them and their growing connection and bond which never got broken and tainted in the way that Brooke and Peyton's Friendship did by the situation by Lucas which some Friendships never recover from.
Screw Breyton....Haley never betrayed Brooke like Peyton did. Braley is the ultimate friendship of OTH to me.
As much as I love breyton, braley is EVERYTHING, my FAVORITE TV FRIENDSHIP tbh. I think I love them more not just because of Brooke's development which us FLAWLESS or their development as friends but because I've been cheated on NY a boyfriend and best friend in TBE past so it affected me personally but I also do REALLY LOVE Brooke's character development she's my favorite TV character EVER and I LOVE braley's development as friends, their my favorite TV FRIENDSHIP PERIOD.

They actually developed a friendship, they started as strangers, then they just knew who they were, then friends, best friends. it's okay, as long as you respect me and I respect you there shouldn't be fights, an anti DE shipper actually told me they hope I miscarry when I was 6 months pregnant back in may last year and I went into premature labor a month later and she said I should give up my child because if I ship DE I'll be a terrible mother, those ppl I DON'T RESPECT but if you respect me and I respect you there'll be no issues.
Peyton didn't do anything wrong the second time. She did nothing she needed forgiving for. She just told Brooke she had feelings for Lucas. She said she wouldn't act on them, but Brooke completely overreacted. She acts like Peyton and Lucas cheated on her again.
Haley and Brooke are sweet, but don't have the magic or the history of Peyton and Brooke.

I don't think she betrayed her I think she was just written out of the show. I think there friendship left off on a pretty happy note
While watching this show, watching these characters grow over the years, together and part, you finally understood why Brooke found it so hard to let ANYBODY in except for Peyton, she was not a mean person, she was broken, and she finally let Haley in, and she built such a closeness with her over time, became her family! Brooke is a beautiful soul!!
Haley was always the one there for Brooke! They never betrayed each other once, that is true friendship
just think about how scared haley was when she was pregnant and counted on brooke, and brooke was alway there.

Hailey was there for Brooke until the end...As for P Sawyer, Brooke moved to tree hill because of her but when she got everything she ever wanted she just left....she wasn't even there for Brooke's wedding. Brooke lost her company you know who was there for her Hailey not Peyton. This is by far the best friendship.

The best friendship on the show. The love and care these two had for each other was wonderful and the kind of relationship I have with my friends. It was healthy and did not need to go through toxic drama that would traumatize one of them for years. Love them

Yes I agree that Baley is amazing. Although I think the purpose of Brooke and Peyton’s relationship was more of a sisterhood from the start and hell even if they did the unthinkable and unforgivable to each other they still loved each other. I also think that the superior superior superior relationship was between the three of them.
