Come si avvia la correzione? Il meccanismo correttivo si basa sul prolungamento del tronco e sull'apertura delle sporgenze delle curve tramite le pelotte inserite in corrispondenza delle costole, fungendo da forze di spinta laterale che consentono la derotazione del corpo vertebrale.
Oltre alle forze di spinta laterale, viene sfruttata anche la trazione lungo l'asse del rachide grazie al supporto sulle creste iliache, sull’occipite e sul mento.

I wore a Milwaukee brace as a child because of Scheuermann kyphosis. It helped a lot. Unfortunately, in my time, 16 was considered adult. So the curvature came back. Even if it sounds strange these days, I would choose the Milwaukee again in a heartbeat. Maybe I'll find someone else who will prescribe and make a milwaukee for me.

This is very good job ! Nice, and preciouse. May I ask again if this is boys or girls barce ? I can not assume this from the pelvic part. Normally with girls we do one more strap jus 2 sm higner rthen the end of the pelvic girdle. This helps especially with girls over 13 years tight the brace much stronger, but strangely enough, they have more comfort in the waist. We dont use velcro straps anynymore, as well as dry zippers, becouse very offten they loose and the the resulting effect is not very good afterwads ...
