Niko Is Injured! We Don't Know What Happened!!

- Poor little princess. We don't even know how it happened but we've been keeping an eye on her letting her rest up and making a fuss of her! She's loving the attention.
As I said she'll be going to the vet after a day if it didn't get any better but as the day went on she showed signs of improvement so hopefully tomorrow it will be better again. I'm pretty sure it was just a sprain as she's weight bearing already on it and there was no obvious injury that occurred and the fact she was on a lead the whole time
So precious is Niko, even limping she's still greeting her dad. Loyalty no matter what 🤗

Dogs are like this I’ll never forget reading many many years ago about a nasty bastard man dumping a puppy at a rubbish dump and this puppy followed him back home 😢
i never saw Niko growl at or get upset with the family and shes so protective of them. its like she was born to protect them.

I've always been a bit partial towards Niko, she's just so lovely(except when around adult dogs other than Major). Wishing her a speedy recovery!

Amazing what happened! Suddenly she put weight on the leg!!! Might have popped a tendon in her leg. My cat did that in her back leg when she jumped down wrong from high places.

I remember when this happened to one of my doggos. It looked awful at first, but it turned out that all she did was suffer the doggie equivalent of twisting her ankle. Hopefully, that's all it is with Princess Niko. Sending her, and you, some good thoughts and prayers.

Check for swelling, treat it just like you would for a human, get some canine aspirin, don't let her walk on it to much, canines don't know how to take it easy, I don't mean to panic but I've volunteered with canine rescue for 20 years, seen lots of injuries turn out worse than you suspect
