With you on sometimes getting nervous in the woods. Our biggest weakness is our imagination
Liked the video and the dulcimer intro music. Going on a road trip from Memphis to Maine to Arcadia NP and Bar Harbor via Kentucky Mammoth Cave NP, West Virginia New River Gorge NP and Pennsylvania and back through Virginia with a stop at Shenandoah NP.
Nice to find a Video creator that is exploring close to me . Subscribed Thanks
Nice setup and great trip. Im originally from south Jersey but live in DC now. Have you hit Hickory Run State Park in the Poconos? Nice sites and park is beautiful. The road out to and back from the Rock Field is fun, and Rock Field is pretty wild. You were not that far from Green Ridge State Forest in Maryland when you were in WV. It’s a nice place to explore- miles of forest service roads and a couple that are more fun- I have vid of those on my channel. Lots of dispersed sites. If you ever want to go a bit further south I just did a forest service roads drive of about 75 miles from Spruce Knob (highest point in WV) to Snowshoe Mountain. Along the way pass the Sinks of Gandy- cave with creek that runs through it- and lots of dispersed sites in the Monongahela Nat Forest that I marked. I can send you route if interested- it’s on Gaia. 🤙
New Sub! Love your videos and vibe! For my Jeep set up I use a small wooden 2 drawer nightstand as my coffee and kitchen set up. It has soft close drawers and fits with my dometic 55 fridge so perfect. I use a smaller Soto spider stove and pans so at a minimum I can make coffee, boil water, and breakfast without much difficulty. I put some carpet on top so that it doubles my workspace.
Clever--I like that small nightstand set-up! I think minimal and light is better for these shorter trips.
I love your setup!! I want an ursa minor but didn’t want to take out my interior storage rack . So that’s good to see.
Do you have trouble getting up there or is there plenty of room still??
And also, I see you have some mounting rails on top of your ursa minor - do you think a soft storage bag could go up there for traveling without damaging the ursa?? I wouldn’t try to open it with the packed bag still on top. 🧐
PLEASE keep making videos ✨🤩✨
Hi! I usually climb up in the Ursa using the driver's side rear seat as a step. It's a bit of a maneuver for my 190 lb frame.
I'd be reluctant to put soft storage bags on the roof just because of exposure to the elements, unless it was something like my OzTent.
great video....,
Q., what tent-unit looks line in comes with a hardtop... you got on your Jeep?
Can you share with us viewers the brand name and model please? thanks....
Hey Jim! Just watched one of your videos for the first time. Really enjoyed it. You mentioned: if anyone had a better system for storage to tell you in the comments. I did a DIY set of Front Runner storage boxes that might be a good DIY for you! On my channel it’s a video where the thumb nail says “What is it?” Cheers!
My one suggestion was also going to be a cargo storage system.

Just started following you, love the video. I have the same exact jeep, in the same color. Was thinking of getting that same top, with the built in tent. What is the price if you don't mind me asking
Nice video. What awning are you using? I like that it seems to setup without having to stake it.
Excellent video, my dude! Is it true that most Rubicon owners are trading in their cars for base-model Ford Broncos? I could've sworn I read that somewhere.
you're lucky you didn't get busted for having the open beer at sawmill cove since alcohol is a no no in wildlife management area. For future adventures you may want to research state and federal management areas laws especially in commonwealth states the fines can get very hefty.. safe travels
Can I ask what water system you are using? The blue container with sprayer?
30 min video about Overlanding but 17 mins of it was food. There might be 5 mins of actual overlanding.
Please get a collar mic
Yep, my Rode NTG failed & the audio was bad. Will use wireless lavs next time, good thought.
