In this episode we do our best to test the limits of Kamikaze Von Doom's Best Solo Dark Zone Build.

Just a question out of curiosity: Wouldn't a busting video be if y'all recreated the build in question (in this case Kami's DZ build) *as close as possible* - guns, gear, mods, skills, etc. - (lacks in optimization and expertise not withstanding cause, like you say...mats are hard to come by) then took it into the DZ and try to find flaws in the build to show that the build is *not* the best for it's intention...after which, *then* show what changes *you* would make to improve the build, take it *back* into a DZ to show that it does now work better?
It's a great concept just, needs tweaks.
Side note, small editing critique: Intro music is very loud; too loud. Clicked on the video and had to yank off my headphones while skipping past it. Maybe dial it down a little to about 80%.

how do you get your expertise so high? Mine won't go past 7
You have to get proficient in more weapons/gear. The more items you’re proficient on, the higher your expertise level will be.
So after you get Keener’s watch you can farm New York with a new character for materials. What we do is use our newly acquired SHD points to buy printer filament and then use that printer filament to raise the proficiency of our weapons and gear. Tuxedo Bandido has a great tutorial on this:

Hook’em’s build is one of the few I’ve seen that is as advertised.
We love Hook’em’s build. We’ve tweaked it a few times and made an SMG Build out of it, but he clearly says it, “This build will not carry you and it’s made for my play style.”
Felt this was a pretty solid review. It performed as I expected it to. Best build nah...good build...I might try it farming. When the bonus armor stacks it's tanky af. I'ma tweak it though 😏. Definitely earned a follow with this video y'all. Keep the content flowing!
I've got one, his foundry bulwark armor regen god build, I think the title of the video is, they couldn't kill me so they called me a cheater.

Nope. We like Kami. We watch his PTS vids, his vendor reset vids, and the community updates all the time. Homeboy even says it in the video that he was surprised by the results of the build. You did watch the video, right?

Kamikaze used to be my favorite when I was 600shd.
Slowly I realized he just put out content constantly, and there are not that many meta builds in this game, so he needs to constantly change what's best and put an uppercase title. Just walking from WH to the clan takes him 5min of talking about nothing(he needs you to watch)
I understand you like him , and you are free to do so, but don't expect everyone to like him, specially those who know how bad 70% of his builds are.
@@Snakes.StartToSing it's not about who likes who! If you don't like a creator's videos then don't watch his channel... It's all about not putting other creators down for what they are doing. It doesn't matter what the videos are, if they can help someone or a new player then what's the problem? Just because it doesn't help you with your builds don't mean it won't help another player!!!

The idea is not to put him down, I don't even dislike the dude, he's charismatic and entertaining. But more knowledgeable creators are gonna call him out for putting bad content that damages the community. Anything can help a new player, specially when they can only put together what they find. Doesn't mean a foundry build with red attributes is better "God mode never die" than a blue striker with memento.
I'll prove my point even further which is that this game has a relatively small fan base, and the last updates have been lacking, bad exotics, bad gear sets. There is not much content to create on top of that. A big creator recently posted "best NEW pve build?" It was a heartbreaker/catharsis 🤣 identity too, he's been "testing" several builds for the last month. But somehow his shd level is exactly the same. See what I mean? Then he puts the video out and say "wow this is amazing"
It's sad when people want to put other creators down for trying to help others put builds together. You shouldn't talk about kamikazes build style because to each their own... But instead just make a video showing your own build. BE THE BETTER PERSON!!
Thank you for your comment. We appreciate your feedback. We’re working on improving our presentation of the information we are trying to get across. To be fair, we didn’t put KamikazeVonDoom down. What we are doing is making an assessment of the build and its practical use and application in the Dark Zone based on what we experience in the Dark Zone every day, and we are in the Dark Zone every day. We actually like KamikazeVonDoom’s videos along with those of other creators. However, there’s a disparity between the skill level those content creators and the people who view them. Not all people watching their videos are at that skill level, so we want to demonstrate what it realistically takes to put those builds together. We address the farm time. We make objective assessments of the build’s armor to damage balance and again how practical it is to use in the Dark Zone against the varying level of skills of players you’ll find in the Dark Zone. I even say in the beginning of the video that I was quite surprised by the results of the build given that I personally took two Rogue Agents down while extracting after Landmark farming. Again, we’re working on improving the presentation so that comes across better and we hope that our next episode will demonstrate that.
