The NY vs Chi issue isn’t that hard. BC is a 1 in a million content creator. He also then poached the top talent in NY and brought them to chicago. Of course, that combo led to this.

I think also (unpopular opinion) Kevin can be a fantastic content creator, but what he does best is curating Barstool as a reality TV show. KFC Radio is fucking horrible, but people tuned in because he always had a great pulse on what was going on in the office (I’d assume his best episodes came when barstool was making headlines). So, Dan not only took the best talent (and essentially took Barstool SPORTS to Chicago), but he took (a) most of the personalities that really butted heads with the pop culture content creators that stayed in NY causing the drama, and (b) he took a lot of the complementary characters that elevated guys like Joey and Tommy on Stool Scenes (like Nick & KB). NY just won’t work because they depended so much on the creators that left.

The Chitown team, and banner NYC creators (CITO, KFC, O&A, Plan Bri) have always had their established "things". Those without established shows, in NYC stand out more, because Chicago is ALL established content creators, who not only do, but they do together. There are less opportunities for NYC supplementary characters, to pop into other shows, and so they have less exposure. It's not to say that what they do via blogs, isn't work. I personally think there's so much opportunity for NYC peeps to zoom into some Chitown content. If there's a long form stream happening (golf simulator, basketball free throws) make yourself part of the action, zoom in and add your commentary. Set yourself up to do remote interviews. Zoom into The Yak. Do blog pieces that offer commentary on Chicago content, without tearing the Chicago office down. Everything they were a part of, in NYC, continue to make themselves a part of it, from NYC. If they aren't part of content, it's up to Dave to decide if their blogging efforts, are worth what he pays them. If Dave feels it is, noone should say anything, it's his pirate ship. If Dave feels it's not, the supplementary NYC characters have to accept that business decision and move on.

I read the comments before watching the video, and I was 100% prepared for another "not my problem" from KFC, but he actually nailed it. Big Cat took a lot of on screen talent and built a fantasy factory, no sh!t that content is going to seem fun. The people that chose not to go to Chicago are quickly realizing they stayed to make a name for themselves in NY, their content is not as good as they thought, and now they are complaining and aren't willing to put in the work. If they were better at their job, people would still tune in to their content. KFC may not be a leader, but he's got the NY office pegged for what it actually is. Barstool Comedy was a good idea, but the "I thought this was Barstool Sports" crowd is loud. NY needs to pivot, and I don't think the people are willing to change.

I'm increasingly of the belief that Feits is just being deliberately difficult or just plain braindead or both. He seems to live in a different world.

FRANK THE TANK.. came into the company from a cruddy Court Reporter Goverment Jobe. He didn't complain about what how much he was paid. He didn't take takes off. He didn't ask for direction on what content to make. He just made content. He showed up to live streams. He is the ONE guy in the NY office who dave says, Let him be him. He can do if 4 ever. He is making more now than when he got hired full time. He makes even more on cameo. Sports Celeberties WANT TO HANG WITH HIM.
The OTHERS all fit the same profile.
College-educated people whose first job was working for Barstool. They are entitled. They are lazy, and they are talentless boors.
