Will give it a go... Solar disaster struck, people seek shelter. Someone built a sanctuary. Sent drones/rolling bot with a picture and cryptic information about location of the entry point, to half guide suitable cohabitants inside, making sure they worked a bit to find the door ( don't want dumb zombies now do we?). All she had to do was to decrypt the information find the door and walk through at the same time with the drone( explains why the burnt stalker couldn't pass) ? She spent some time trying to find the door and failed a few times already as per crosses on her map, finally succeeded just in time as these stories go, no?
No, I think it was brilliant. It might feel like you have no clue what this film is about. But she knew before there's some haven, and now she got there. Simple feelings and simple escape story, communicated in just as short time as necessary. It aims the audience with a very short memory span, but this is so much better than Tiktok generally!

Whenever I want to give peace to my brain, I simply avoid watching too too too short 🎥 films.But this short film changed it. It's better than solving a puzzle.

Great short, renders a full feel and implied story in so little time without feeling rushed.
My theory is something in the environment is causing the skin boils, which is why she taped her ankles and is wearing a makeshift hazmat suit. Her skin was reacting to the exposure caused by the tear on the broken branch. Maybe the dome let her in and not the guy because none of her skin was exposed when she crossed.

Similar but the dome letting her in will cause a disease hotspot because she is now infected and will end up like boil guy.

@MateoQuixote I'm going to make the capital sin of Internet and write my disagreement with someone else's opinion. I think if there are household items but the story is engaging, the director knows how to keep a pace, or make interesting visual compositions, most people wouldn't care about the common items being at use. I certainly wouldn't, and I agree that this isn't Marvel. I don't even like Marvel.
However if you have a tasteless story that feels more like a 10 word plot vomited by chatgpt, and that looks like an ad for a drone company, then people start noticing all the little things they don't like, because there aren't many things to be liked, really.
Anyway just my opinion about why maybe the other user's issue wasn't really with the welding masks.
It was worth it, not looking back!

I was still waiting for it to start when it ended.
Of all the types of masks to use as a " make shift mask", a welders mask should be bottom of the list, if you want to see where you're going! Where did that dome come from and how did she get through, while Zombie Boy couldn't? Is it welder mask friendly? How come sweat wasn't streaming down her face when she took off welder mask? It should have been like a sauna under there after running so hard from Zombie Boy! These questions and many more!
Full of suspense and fear. A beautiful video. It's easy to make your own narrative about this. Sci Fi at its best.

Reminds me of the sphere from Halo. I like the tiny drone
right so the earth was exposed to UV rays or something that meant she couldnt be exposed to the sunlight and she was searching for a sanctuary protected by a forcefield the UV couldnt get through. not sure why she and the bots could get through the forcefield but not the zombie though.

Seems one of the bots (either the flying or rolling one has a key of sorts ( not unlike keyless entry to car) she just had to find the door where it worked (as seen by the maps in the beginning of where she checked and did not find it) and slip through with the drone/bot???

Her whole suit was homemade, using what was available. More realistic than if she had some fancy tech headpiece.
@@801oap It's not realistic though. That exactly is the very point. Welding helmets don't protect against gasses and it would be impossible to make it sealed air tight.
If it was about UV radiation that too would be a bad pick - because in that case you wouldn't need to run around in an unbreathable rubber coat risking exposure on a small tear.
No matter how you look at it - it looks like a drone add with a plot written by chatgpt. Uninspiring, lazy and with bad storytelling on top. Some would call it a waste of time.
