JRPG-esque boss theme. Made for the Fantasy RPG Jam on Chiptune Cafe (just an RPG-themed music compo, not a game jam).
Music made with Dn-Famitracker; video rendered with corrscope.
Module: drive.google.com/file/d/1t9LE... - Hudba
Awesome
If there was an NES Tales game I imagine the music would've sounded along these lines...
Your melodies are hypnotizing :)
The chorus is super satisfying
square waves go brrr
And how much of us wish to hear metal cover of this?
That would be so cool
I really like this!
Thanks. You're one of my favorite chiptune artists so it means a lot
This is a great visualizer, it works so well with energetic music like this.
I'd say you pulled off a boss battle theme very nicely, indeed! Great work!
This reminds me of shovel knight i love it so much
かっこいい!
THIS IS SO GOOD!! OH MY GOOOOODDDDDDDD YOU JUST GAINED A SUBSCRIBER MY MAAAANNN
SOME PARTS IN THIS ACTUALLY GIVE ME CHILLS IF YOU’D BELIEVE THAT!
Thank you very much for sharing.
My favourite entry for battle themes, banger shit man 😌👌
Man, this is really impressive. You got a new subscriber out of me. Love the Megaman vibe I'm getting out of it.
glad I stumbled upon this
great stuff, keep it up!
holy shit this is excellent
Hey this is pretty good!
How did you make the sawtooth look like it's a pulse wave momentarily?
VRC6 sawtooth just looks like that at low volumes for whatever reason
bodied it 🔥🔥🔥
what the hell is that sawtooth doing
If you mean the thing it does at 0:18, it's just rapidly jumping up and down an octave.
no, at 0:00
@@StudioLNL I think that's just the weird aliased way the VRC6 renders the sawtooth. I didn't realize they looked like that either until I did this oscilloscope.
How does the VRC6 do PWM?
It has 8 different pulse widths available. Just cycle through them in a loop.
@@Firespike33 Thx. I thought it would sound choppy doing something like thatm
It sounds so egyptish from 0:31 to 0:44.
I hadn't really thought about it like that but I can hear what you mean
Possibly one of the best customs I've heard using 8 bit instruments! Do you have a source for the DPCM samples you used here? I'd love to possibly yoink them for a few covers I'm doing, cause a lot of the snare and tom samples I've heard have been woefully inadequate.
I have a giant folder of drum samples that I got from a weird, now-defunct website. After looking into it, their Mediafire link is still up, so here: www.mediafire.com/download/f2rufdar9rk15h4/DrumSamples.org-DS1000.zip
@@Firespike33 Oh nice, thank you so much! That'll help out tremendously, the kick and snare here are so punchy compared to almost every sample I've heard outside of percussive triangle drums. To be honest I may take a shot at making a 2A03 cover of this now that I have good samples, just for fun!
@@FyreofShadow That would be really cool. I love music demakes. If you don't want to do it by ear I could upload the module.
@@Firespike33 That would be neat! I was struggling with the intro chords already, so I can see it being helpful :P
@@FyreofShadow Link's in the description
