5:11 I hate to admit it. But I am a person who never managed to fight a single boss fight because I don’t know how to mutate or breed properly.
I’ll have to find a friend that would teach me in-game the exact basics step by step with the right examples of what to do next and what problems I might face and helps me with my problems and questions I might ask.
I have also tried watching many tutorials on breeding and mutations such as ones from Syntac and I still face problems and questions and so I still can’t do them properly.
Either way the gigantoraptor alone has no chance to teach me how to mutate and breed properly
Hey mate trust me I know the struggle! My mate taught but took ages to get the knowledge because it just sounds awkward.
I may make a video on it, if I can understand it (on some level) then anybody can 😂
The first step for mutating, is putting the best stats into a breeding pair that will be your base, so if you have 5 rexs, they all may have one highest stat like one could have 10 k base health, 400 melee and so on and you want to ram all that into one female and one male breeder, so you have the highest and strongest base rexes as possible
This boy can help because instead of hoping you hatch some stats, you can kinda force it the feathers it's not guaranteed BUT it gives you a massive chance to get a good bulk if not all in one go so no messing around.
It's confusing but I'll try and do a vid on it soon making it as simple as possible because I'm ngl figuring how to mutate by myself would have been impossible

I have been an Ark player since the launch of ASE scorched earth and I mostly played just solo on some random unofficial servers with boosted stats. And I don’t have friends to play.
Anyways I hope one day it will click with me then I would understand how this whole system works properly
Edit: I watched the guide It finally clicked with me. I now know the basic system they use. But I will have to try it in-game to properly feel like I understood the video.
@@Dude-X-Perfect start it in your single player setting with boosted multipliers. Then do the basics from start to end through seeshell. she made it very easy to understand.

Are the feathers consumed with every breed?
Ironically no, I thought they would be but no they just stay in there.
Only reason to have multiples I guess if you have different lines going at the same time
Your are wrong it Can only consume one of the feathers at a time so you have to decide what stat you want to have a higher chance of.
If that's the case I'll have to recheck! It didn't use up mine and I got all the stats so will recheck adn update

hey mate, unfortunately even when they are in the saddle they do not share the Gigantoraptors food which suuuuucks. Make sure to have food on the baby while bonding or he will starve

Hey Mate, make sure the parent is dead and while riding him get the baby in your cross hairs and claim with the button it pops up with for me it was E on pc

There is a possibility you didn’t download the mod for the gigantoraptor. It’s needed for now to be able to find the gigantoraptor.

You can pluck feathers once every 24 hours from each tamed gigantoraptor 😋

No, I have mods and still got the top of the world and some of the explorer achievements.

Most games they would but with the way ark integrated them, no no issues at all
Tbh you can get some achievements in creative mode, like deepest part of the sea or highest mountain.
