I am! I love how this band are clearly having a great time though. It’s so good to see.
Amazing sound, but I will say this. Royal Coda is not simply DGD with Kurt vocals. Although, the genres and styles are clearly adjacent, especially with Will Swan being in the band (with his distinct compositional style in tandem with geniuses like Sergio Medina), Royal Coda offers something very different from DGD. Not something that can really be put into words, but i guess it's that RC doesn't really go into the hardcore hardcore side of post-hardcore. Rather, they seem to lean more towards a pop punk on crack sound, and it's addictive. I truly love what all these Swancore bands have to offer

Quality over quantity. Jackpot Juicer is too long. Too many songs you won't remember 3 months later. This record is much more concise so even when there are parts where it's not amazing at least they happen less frequently.

This has probably been my favorite band to come out in the last decade since their first album released
I was more excited for this album than any other album coming out this year. Joseph Arrington is a phenomenal drummer, will and Sergio are obviously amazing guitar players, and kurt never disappoints. So excited to play this album continuously over and over again.
I can't be the only one getting strong Dance Gavin Dance vibes with this one and I mean that in the best way 🤯

this is refreshing music to hear. reminds me of my favorite band rx bandits on crack but with a different poppy aestetic to tie it all together to make something unique, experimental, yet familiar and easy to bob your head to. definitely one of my fvorite bands now
