      i have this guitar and i dont hate it but ive come to dislike the adjustomatic bridge cause that shit buzzes so badly and theres really not much you can do about it unlike with a traditional jag or mustang bridge, i also hate that playing behind the bridge is basically not viable like with the older style bridge set ups. basically i dont like it cause i should have done more research before getting one cause i think i wanted a more traditional one anyways but i felt more justified getting this cause of the humbuckers cause i already had a strat lmao, but jag pickups are completely diff from strat ones

    And he didnt even find out about the smooth transition from humbucker to single which makes it double versatile again. I think only the full single has hum. You can set it anywhere from full humbucker to full single which is great. Low cut, high cut. Everything you need.
    What i would do is insert a standard toggle switch instead of the 2 sliders, cobain did also i think. Rest is perfect.

  • @ChaelaThompson
    @ChaelaThompson Před 5 lety +13

    If I recall correctly it's a re release of a classic player. What is normally the jazz circuit is actually a gradual coil roll off to get split tones. The upper horn switch is an on off, and the high pass is normal jag high pass. Has enforcer humbuckers. My friend had one about 10 years ago now. Such a rad guitar I wish I could have bought back then... and now I can again 👌

  • @tofersiefken
    @tofersiefken Před rokem +1

    OOPS, You totally misunderstood the control circuits, especially the blend controls in the upper bout. This is NOT wired the same as a standard Jaguar, rather there is one master volume and one master tone, the lower bout controls still include on / off switches for neck (right), bridge (middle), and high pass / low cut (left), but the upper controls do NOT switch between rhythm and lead circuits, rather the slider switch is a kill switch and the two roller knobs are a blend between single coil mode and humbucking mode with an infinite amount of adjustment or "blend". (Left roller = bridge blend, middle roller = neck blend, far right slider = kill switch.) For me, that is the selling point of this Jag compared to any other Jaguar, it opens up far more tonal variation. An easy mistake to make for sure, especially for the first time you see a new model.
