It was sand not ashes, 100 year old sand might be toxic today as they had no standards like today

That’s somebody’s ashes one of the lamps had very little sand/ashes The other one had lots of ashes and you said it had a bad smell my conclusion is one person was very skinny and the other person was big and fat that’s the difference in the amount of remains left in each lamps
