So it's there so you can tell iPhone users look i have a headphone jack 😂, I have the AirPods and the convenience of no cables are so good! Even when I had my iPhone 6 I never took my apple headphones out of the case, I always have Bluetooth headphones, who the F uses regular headphones in this time of age? Everything is wireless now!

Could you please open this phone in half to see what the actual heck is there inside? No big battery, bad display, camera BUMP, button asymmetry, no dual front speakers, no 3.5mm, dac etc, do they hide some extra secret hardware that needs activation or it's just POOR USE OF SPACE and bad design with scarce components here and there that just increases size?
It does make you wonder what is going on , some devices out there with bigger batteries in a much smaller packages , some fully loaded with features too (S7 edge for example ) 3600 Mah , and others ,

on the htc 10 there are no dual front facing speakers as well, but honestly, you don't even notice it. Instead you have the top part with which you have phone calls for high frequencies and the lower speaker next to the usb port, which serves as kind of a subwoofer. it actually does sound great, and is just as loud as the front facing speakers.
Like the iPhone 7's dual speakers.
SuperMKi1 I can notice when watching videos. But for music I don't really. Having one speaker for highs and one speaker for lows definitely makes the 10 sound better then my m8.
well htc had that speaker set 1st with their 10, and well obviously Apple liked the idea if they copied the same set up on the iphone 7 a couple months later.

I own a htc Ultra, as well as the 10. It definitely has some flex if I try to twist it but without permanent deformation, like on the iphone 6.

i actually own this phone, i am in love with it. the build quality is top notch, htc even include really high quality heaphones and a case aswell. The battery is not a problem since it's high quality, lasts me easily a whole day of heavy 4g usage and gaming. Sure, it might be expensive but it's still cheaper than IPhone 7 plus 32gb, note that the htc has 64gb storage and you can expand to 2TB. The cameras are amazing, i own apple products so i'm not an apple hater, but after you use the HTC you know where the money went.

I think the heavy referred to the 4G usage and not the gaming. And the slot is supposedly usable to expand that far, provided you have a micro SD card that has 2TB, of which there aren't any. But yeah the praise is quite suspicious

Craig Simpson In my opinion the V20 has a better design and an overall better phone than the Ultra. Has a Hi-Fi quad dac for the headphone jack (Which is basically providing more power to the jack allowing for better and stronger audio quality), 2 spectacular rear facing cameras, one being a 8MP 135° wide angle camera, and a 16MP camera, both of which with an expansive manual mode which even has manual focus peaking! (Yay!) A wide angle front facing camera, a second screen that does pretty much anything you wish a second screen to do, and much more. But this is just my opinions backed up with the specs of the phone (Its the phone I'm actually using rn)

if the phone was very very small then sure no headphone jack is no problem but anything even reasonably larger NEEDS a headphone jack.

Sandro Salvatore maybe he liked the iphone 7 Plus enough to change his mind? I have one and it's my only phone. Bluetooth headphones/earbuds have dropped considerably in price, and the no headphone jack hasn't been a hindrance in daily life for me. I own a set of $35 Bluetooth earbuds that have a 20 hour battery and are ipx7 waterproof. I keep those, a $10 cheapie wired pair of earbuds (for my 3ds and in case the battery runs low on the wireless buds), and the adapter that comes with the iphone in the drawstring bag my wireless buds came with, which goes inside the neoprene sleeve I use for my tablet in my messenger bag that I use as a "purse" so I won't lose anything. I also have a Bluetooth transmitter for my car (my car is too old for BT) that plugs in through the aux. So it's really been a non issue. I only went all BT despite having the adapter to minimize the strain on the lightning port. It isn't as bad as everyone thinks it is. Oh, and there is an adapter to split the lightning port in two (I have one in my bag) for simultaneous charging and headphone use.
