Not because they have better players, but because they have a better team, and a higher work rate. The 76ers and Joel Embiid can be lazy at times. You can’t be lazy against the New York Knicks.

Great take, ill also add to this. Do people just seem to forget that a team in 2nd seed who won 50 games, is obviously a better team than the one in 7th with less win? Its like people enter the post season and just forgot which team has been playing better all year. Knicks have proven they work harder, its not an on off switch, they simply work hard every game its automatic. People picking 6ers to win don't understand basketball.
Great point… “it’s not an off and on switch”. You can’t just turn it on. And another thing.. the only reason that the Knicks only had 50 wins was because they were missing Randle, Anunoby and Robinson for almost 3 months. With those three in the lineup, the Knicks would’ve had close to 60 wins. Embiid doesn’t make up for all three being out. They had no problem with Embiid when healthy and they won’t have any problem with the Sixers otherwise.

Another trash strategy, as if its that simple. Like an NBA team will just do a junk-defence for an entire playoff game. Out of a time out for 1-2 possessions to surprise the knicks, sure, maybe. Its not a high-school ball game, these players are pros and would read that instantly and counter it. @@Dbo_Sports bro, I’m 64, this is the best team we have had since 1973, still heartbroken over Randall injury, because of that, I’d be happy just making it to the finals after wupping on Celtics. This team has a chemistry that’s off the charts. The parts are great, but the sum of them is even better. If we can work a three-way deal with the Cavs, sending DM to the Nets and we get Mikail Bridges….. that’s a 60-65 win dynasty team.

Playing a team that was really not a 7th seed only cause the big man was out. Plus, no Randle. But Brunson, who I respect, is a great player. He will see so many double teams. Should be a fun series either way
