  • In this Fly Tying video I show you, how to tie a small minnow/baitfish pattern for Saltwater or Freshwater fishing. It is very effective and I caught especially Sea Trout on the Baltic shore with it... It is also very easy to tie!
    Material list:
    Hook: Gamakatsu F314 #8
    Wings: Polar fibre and dubbing
    Adhesive Eyes
    Some Flash
    UV Resin

Aha! Da kommen sie ja, die Killer Fliegen. 😁👍🏼 Geguckt wird morgen, wenn wieder genügend Internet zur Verfügung steht. Sehen aber sehr gut aus auf dem Bild.
    LG, Daniel

Das machen sie! Die sehen meinem eigenen Craft Fur Modell sehr ähnlich. Und die fangen auch sehr gut. 😉🎣

It's only translucent because you wet it and then took it out of the water. It's going to look very different under water

Are there any updates on how it catches fish?

    • @flyfish3687
      @flyfish3687  Před rokem

Yes, I got a request to produce more of these, cause people love them and catch fish with it… also me personally caught a couple of decent sea running browns with it!
Best regards and always tight lines!

Good morning Sir, Can I ask you what brand Polar Fibre you are using.
I have H2O from Fishient Group Brand , I dont like it because it has some long stiff guard hairs that stick out the tips when you cut off a clump, not good for smaller baitfish ties
What you are using looks like it has no guard hairs in it just the soft under fur.
It looks likea produt we have here in the USA called Psuedo Hair from Hairline
I am asking because I am looking for that type of material. Thank You For Your Time.

      I also used H2O Polar Fibre…
You see me pulling out the longer hairs, which are the stiffer ones… This way you also can trim down to very small sizes of wings…
Thanks for you comment and always tight lines…
