Midnight Jam 1 - Sealegs, Plaits, Rings, STO, Hermod+

At the 21st of january I am oerforming at Voltage Control Amstsrdam in Paradiso. So the next two weeks Im in rehearsal mode. I thought it would be fun to take you with me in the process of creating the performance. I will probably open my set with this piece. Enjoy the music!

Oh mate, this is great 👌. Is Bitbox just percussion, or are you using it for other voices?

Hi, Thank you so much! The only sound coming from the bitbox is the slam of a door with a delay on it that I have recorded. I want to use some audio in my music. Field recordings and organic sounds that I record around my home as percussive elements in my patches. Its been a fascination of me for somentime trying to blend organic sounds with electronics. Everything is else but the doorslam you hearing are synths. Mother m-32 for bass, DFAM for the kick, an STO, (two!) Plaits and a Rings for the melodies and arps. Beads and Sealegs add the magic sauce and Hermod+ is sequencing everything.
