- The Kansanshi mine in Zambia is the largest copper mine in Africa. To increase levels of productivity and reduce running costs, Hitachi was chosen as the preferred supplier for trolley trucks.
Two new EH3500AC-3s have been added to the Hitachi fleet and are being utilised to support the mining operation, including the production of 240,000 tonnes of copper and more than 120,000 ounces of gold a year.

Amazing work. I can't wait to start working.❤❤❤❤
Such vehicles have been around for a very long time. Detroit Salt Mine used Trolley Trucks underground for many years.
Great! The mine should take some of the money saved from this and spend it on a haul road dust control solution.
A truck bigger than a house.
Time for the next step: full electric.
Nice on adalah bende bende mulishanie
Better than diesel only.

This definitely not "whole new approach". Trolley was already used in mines 70 years ago. Don't spread false statements.
I believe the professionals at Hitachi more than you.
sharkheadism Your believe is good only for the church, because reality dont care about what you belive. Hello from Russsia 😜 i.pinimg.com/originals/f3/2d/a2/f32da274793effe5069b14996901f300.jpg
sharkheadism “professionals” lie in advertisements all the time dipshit
@@sharkheadism Sorry to say, but in this case, you are wrong. Pangrac is absolutely right, trolley trucks in mining is an old story. I can't say when it was introduced in Russia, but in the US it is used since the 1950ies. Best regards from Germany
@@FatCatGotHot It sounds like your problem lies with professionals at Hitachi, not me.
