  • Here are the steps for removing the rear bumper on a Peugeot 208:
1.Open the tailgate and remove the two screws located at the top of the bumper, near the tail lights.
2.Use a plastic pry tool or a flathead screwdriver covered with masking tape to carefully remove the two plastic clips located at the bottom of the bumper, just above the license plate area.
3.Remove the rear wheel arch liner by unscrewing the three screws located at the bottom of the liner and pulling it away from the bumper.
4.Use a Torx T30 bit to remove the two screws located on each side of the bumper, just in front of the rear wheels.
5.Disconnect the wiring harnesses for the parking sensors, if equipped, and the rear lights. These can be accessed by removing the rear light units.
6.Carefully pull the bumper away from the car, starting at one corner and working your way along the length of the bumper. Be sure to disconnect any remaining wiring harnesses or clips as you go.
7.Once the bumper is fully removed, inspect it for any damage or wear and replace as necessary.
To reinstall the bumper, simply reverse the above steps, taking care to align the bumper with any clips or fasteners before tightening any screws or bolts.
It is always a good idea to consult your vehicle's manual or seek professional assistance if you are unsure about any aspect of removing or reinstalling the bumper on your Peugeot 208.
