Kean is so cute that I cry tears of joy every single time i watch it. :')
I"ve had OES my whole life and I am not fond of the designer breeds, but your dog is one of the better looking sheepadoodles I"ve seen.
I just got a sheepadoodle today!!! They are such cute friendly dogs.

Instant Sushi please be careful when buying a cross breed. Short version but a lot of dodgy breeders are out there selling these cross breeds and just making money from the dogs but they are not having the stud dogs and both dogs health checked properly eg if the pra is not checked the puppies can die. Also be careful when buying cross cause with some of the them there brains can be to big for there heads. I know with some of the cross breeds they can be a stronger dog but don't buy a dog cause they look cute do some research cause like I said a lot of people just want to make money out of dog breeding and there are a lot of dodgy breeders out there. You really want a dog to live for at least 13 years so just be mindful before you buy a dog or look at adopting a dog. There are lots of puppies etc who have been abandoned and need loving homes.

Good luck on your journey and like I said just be careful cause a lot of dodgy breeders not telling you they are selling there dogs from puppy farms etc. Whatever you do make sure if you are buying a puppy get both parents paper work in advance and check for pra etc and if some wants to give you a puppy before they are eight weeks old and has sold the siblings before they are eight weeks don't buy the puppies. The first few weeks are the most informative for the puppy. Good luck. :)

Guys, this is adorable!!! "Kean" is the cutest little fellow. I also have a mini-sheepadoodle,but he was found and never claimed and I just found out today what he is. Your little guy acts exactly like "Barnaby". He's all white and only about 20lbs at this point. What a great life they will have, yes? Us too! lol! Love the added music. I'm a photographer and must say that your video is captivating! Such a sweet and loving journal of you new life with Kean! I just had to put my sweet Sophie down after 14 years together! She welcomed all 3 of my kids home and gave us many years of joy! Who was your breeder? I am interested in this breed especially after meeting Kean in your video! Enjoy him! Pets are such a gift!

I have a sheepadoodle that is turning 2 years old in April.
Sheepadoodles are very nice and gentle dogs. However, as with all dogs, it depends on which one you get. Mine is named Cosmo and is really kind (and lazy 😂). Another puppy in his litter was very hyper but they all were extremely cute and loving. They are very good with other dogs and people. In the neighborhood next to me, there is another sheepadoodle. Like mine, he loves other people and dogs. In the end, I encourage you to choose a sheepadoodle.THEY ARE SO CUTE TOO!

i came home from work a few weeks ago. i pulled my car in the driveway, parked it and got out immediately because there was a girl walking (what i thought was) an old english down the sidewalk on the other side of the street. i got out and said, "hi!, is that an old english?" my family had one when i was a kid. she said, "actually, she's an old english poodle mix." the dog was bigger but still a pup. very playful. great mix! ...looked more sheepdog that poodle.

We just wanted to let you both know that we love this video of Kean.
We will be getting a mini Sheepadoodle from the same breader (Susie). While I was talking to her, I mentioned the video of Kean and she told me that he is a cousin to our Piper. We are bring Piper home on Sunday, 10/7/12 as she will be 8 weeks then. We are so looking forward to having her in our lives.
We had a Labradoodle, Misty and she was 5 1/2 and had cancer and put down on June 30th, 2012,

Why oh why did they chop his tail off?
because OES that are breed well do not have a tail. If they do it is removed (much shorter than this). They are bred to be herding dogs and the hair is protection from wolves so a tail is a weak point for them in a fight. Most of your herding dogs do not have tails.
TheWyndrunner159 "so a tail is a weak point..." - where did you get that nonsense from? I've had herding dogs and hunting dogs my whole life and tails are no problem (although a LACK of a tail can be a problem). In fact the ultimate herding dog- bar none - the Border Collie - has a full tail.
Admit it - docking is done for cosmetic reasons. It's vanity ...and it's hubris.
yes other breeds have it but the OES oes not. look it up. and they are not "docked". you can feel his spine and tell he was born without one and this is my 3rd OES and not one has been breed with one nor "docked". that is why they are called a "bobbed tail" look at the body, they legs rear legs are in different position. also they are a gaited dog. right front and rear legs, move together as does the left when running or prancing.
The American Kennel Club breed standard states that the tail should be "docked close to the body, when not naturally bob tailed",[7] even though the practice of cosmetic docking is currently opposed by the American Veterinary Medical Association.[9] It is believed that the practice of tail docking came about in the 18th century as a result of taxation laws that required working dogs to be docked as evidence of their working status,[1] but nowadays, in places where the practice is still legal, tail docking is mainly performed for purely cosmetic reasons.

Beautiful pup . Please let's begin to educate the breeders that are docking tails. this is not cool. Docking tails is a thing of the past no ethical breeder is docking tails anymore the do declaw. I have looked at serveral sheepadoodle breeders and they have stopped. Only seen one that is doing this and I wrote them and gave them the history on this and what American Vet. Med, Association does not support docking of tails of it The tail is important for balancing and other reasons, God put it there for reason.
