Thank you, I just subscribed because I usually watch you on Instagram but I find CZcams is a lot more better with your videos. My question is is it okay if you add an extra vanilla bean or a few more than what you stated?
Does it matter what kind of vodka is used? Will cheap vodka mess with taste? Also, how long is shelf life? Thx this is great idea!
At least 80 proof or more. Any brand.
Hey! Cheap vodka will not mess with the taste but it needs to be 80 proof or higher to accurately extract the vanilla out of the bean :)

@lindas9806 how high is too high? Will it be extra vanilla for every 10 point proof higher it is?
@@theguydudety I may be confusing the proof with herbal extraction. The FDA requires a minimum 70 proof, or 35% alcohol on vanilla extracts.
