I love the videos, usually. But please, when talking into a mic; watch the 'S' 'Sch' sounds. I could not pay attention to the video, because all I heard was the lisping on the consonants. It is meant as constructive not as something rude.

My favorite game of all time.
Great video, many underrated RPG on Switch that I feel it's nearly impossible to list them all. There is 3 RPG that I consider underrated and love very mcuh on Switch that are not featured in this video :
- Harvestella : A RPG with a farming sub-system, it has a pleasant gameplay loop with a great art direction & music and a very good, Xeno-like, story (IMO one of the best from a Square Enix game).
- The Alliance Alive : It's kind of a Suikoden-like RPG with a SaGa battle system but more accessible, great gameplay, great music and great story. Despite its low budget it's a very well rounded RPG.
- The Caligula Effect 2 : The 1st game had good idea but a poor execution. This time the execution is much better, much better characters, a unique and interesting battle system, great music and a sub-system for the side-quest that work very well (unlike the 1st game).
There is probably many other underrated RPG that I'm forgetting, the amount of RPG on the Switch is kinda crazy.
Cosmic Star Heroine is a great SNES style JRPG that took me back to the 90s! Hopefully we'll see another deep discount on it again soon for those looking to snag it.
This one is going to require a rewatch and a deeper dive. Thanks as always for the good work.

Glad to see Triangle Strategy getting a call out. I was surprised that with so much likeness to Octopath Traveler, people just entirely forgot it even existed. Anyone that has played Octopath would certainly love it.
I watched this video yesterday; some of those games I wasn't aware of. I already added some of them to my Wishlist; thank you.

Another stunning rendition!!! Citizen Sleeper is my pick from the list. One of my personal favorites is Cthulhu Saves Christmas. Obviously, by the title, its gonna be a brand of humor that you just need to appreciate. Im down for anything Lovecraft so it was an easy pick for me that turned out pretty good. About 15hrs for completion, at least for me.
Welcome, Mrs. Alex! Thank you for providing us with completion time estimates and for mostly focusing on the shorter titles. As a busy working parent, I just don't have a lot of time for gaming.
Love that this video comes out while I'm playing one of these RPGs, and it's the one in the thumbnail! Couldn't agree more on some of these, TMS, Citizen Sleeper, Triangle Strategy & obviously Disco Elysium in particular.

Thanks undead! I think you'll be surprised by how many people don't know about. I know your big on the switch but if you look at the comments alot of these are new to people. Granted, things like triangle strategy, probably more smaller in their library than anything

They definitely aren't all popular. But they also aren't all great, Kowloon especially is very much of its time and really hard to get past it's archaic mechanics which were also somewhat that one it's original release. Awesome premise, not a good game however.
Well done! I enjoy the videos with Mrs. Switch Corner even though I don't play RPGs 😊 I'd like a video about which ones to try when you're new to/ trying out the genre. I've bought a few in the past but cannot seem to get into them.

Great list.
I've not long finished Nexomon Extinction and I really enjoyed it, especially the humour. Main complaint was being less certain of which monsters were "good" or not (but I think you could still manage with just picking your favourites).
I picked the normal-type "dog" looking creature as my starter. It practically solo'd the entire game. Was too easy.
Never heard about Kowloon and Stars and Time, definitely gonna check it out

I own nine of these! Good selection of games. My suggestion for a good SRPG that I’m sure most people have not heard of is Banner of the Maid. Many of the characters are references to real life people of the Napoleonic era.

Hello there! I hope you're on more often. Also, why are you guys showing me more RPGs!? I only put 2 hours in Triangle, Bravely 2, and Hiper Light before it went into my backlog game.

Thanks i'm only familair with only about half of them (Tokyo Mirage, Cosmic Star Heroine, Triangle Strategy, Disco Elysium, Nayuta, Monark and Bravely Default) but haven't played them yet. As for the others i didn't know existed, i'm interested in Children of Zordiacs, Bug Fables and Hyper Light Drifter.
I would say out of the 15 on here at least 7 were titles fans were anticipating prior to release
Nexomon Extinction was very great to my surprise & really looking forward to the devs next project called Nexomon 3🤩

I'm going to suggest those who want to play kowloon high to have a walk-through handy because many quests have obscure solutions that require specific party members which involves backtracking out of dungeons to swap them

A definite edition for Xenoblade Chronicles X (like they did for XC1) or a remake would be amazing. It's my favorite game of all time.

I skipped out on Tokyo Mirage Sessions because they didn't decensor it. If anything, they shoehorned in the censorship into the Japanese re-release.

I keep thinking about getting Disco Elysium, it looks like nothing I've ever played so I'm hesitant. It's only 15 bucks right now so maybe I'll give it a shot.

Tokyo Mirage Sessions #FE Encore, sure its diet persona but does social links aspect better with fun cast, superb dungeons.
Nexomon Extinction, you own it to yourself if a pokemon fan to play this. It is a pokemon-like game styled like the early generations with old school route layouts and full dungeons. Excellent story with post game arc and free added expansion too, only $20 usd for 50+ hours get it.
I did not like Bravely Default 2. I really wanted to play it and when I did I was disappointed. I didn't like the "brave" system in battles.
Oninaki is another one I have been looking into. It has the same look as Legend of Nayuta but I've heard the story is very shallow and predictable.
