Thanks for doing a review on this, I've already have all the seasons of the show as they were released individually but after seeing this I'm going to go ahead and order this set just so I'll have an extra set. I've still got VHS tapes that my mom had taped back when the show was on TNN back in the 90's and my whole life revolved around this show and my mom would tape it everyday cause it would come on TV before I'd get home from school. Such great memories I have. Thanks again for the review.

With the recent wave of blu ray releases of knight rider, macgyver, Incredible Hulk and Wonder Woman among other classic shows maybe we will get a blu release keep your fingers crossed

Dukes of Hazzard is a good clean family show It's a shame this show is banned on TV and streaming due to "controversy" I'm glad I have all the seasons plus the reunion movies. Thanks for the doing the video
I want to get this box set and I do have all the seasons in my vudu account. This is one of my favorite shows thanks for unboxing this and showing us how it looks and I am very glad they are not double sided because when I bought the individual seasons along time ago I was not happy that a lot of the discs were double sided.
Thanks for the review on this set. I'm debating picking it up as I've read some reviews saying that many discs were badly scratched up when they got them. If I can get it for a decent price, I think I will get it. Loved the Dukes!! ☺
Great I already have all 7 seasons on dvd when they originally came in 2004, 2005 on dvd The only thing is the dvds I have when I originally bought them for the first time on DVD They audio commentary’s from John, Tom Wopat and Cathy Bach on 3 different episodes John an Cathy Bach did a commentary for One Armed Bandits the pilot episode season 1. The new release on dvd doesn’t have the commentaries!! Just saying 👍👍
Surprisingly my Walmart still has the complete series (New art and only two boxes for it) but they only use pictures of the General where the top of the roof isn't shown I got it earlier today as I couldn't find the S7 when they released the seasons individually and some disks in my s2 aren't working as S1 and S2 were dual disks
I Like how All of The Disc is Black actually, Looks Alot better than The Boring Gray Disc in my opinion ☺️, I'm actually Glad that they Change It, Great Video 👍
You don't have to open the whole box set. You could've just made a little slit in the plastic where the DVD cases are. I would take the plastic off until I realized that I don't have to.
The only thing about that box set that I do not like is that the commentary by Catherine Bach and John Schneider on *One Armed Bandits* was removed, and it is evident that the 1st season on 2017 re-release is only three discs, there was also a five-disc version of the 1st season that was released back in 2012. I wonder how many more commentaries were removed from later seasons in this 2017 release. Pretty much it was like someone at Warner Bros decided to make it cheap as possible by removing the commentary and putting the first four episodes on disc 1 of season 1 whereas the five-disc version of the first season is probably the same as the original 1st season release that had three dual-sided discs, but now all on single-sided discs.
@@krazetv I have read that there are two additional episodes *In This Corner, Luke Duke* and *Double Dukes* both of which feature audio commentary by Catherine Bach, John Schneider, and Tom Wopat on them when Warner Brothers originally released these back on DVD in the early 2000s. There was an earlier DVD box set that was released back in 2015 that featured all seven seasons plus the two theatrical movies, the one starring Johnny Knoxville and Seann William Scott, and the prequel movie that was a direct-to-DVD release _The Dukes of Hazzard: The Beginning_ and the only thing that both those movies have in common is that Willie Nelson stars as Uncle Jesse Duke in them. That box set some of the seasons are single-sided discs and some of them are double-sided discs. Another thing is that the opening Warner Brothers logo that appears over cloudy skies when the DVDs are booting up, is that animation of the logos are much smoother on the older DVDs whereas on the 2017 DVDs the animation tends to freeze up a little bit, probably due to the fact on the 5-disc version of the 1st season, which is probably the same as the original 3-disc version where the discs had an A-Side and a B-Side, it is three episodes per disc with the 13th episode being on the 5th disc along with bonus featurettes that were originally from 2004.

I Recently Was Able To purchase a Copy Of The Dukes Of Hazard the Complete Series on DVD at Walmart and I absolutely love it . But I Noticed your Dukes of Hazard DVD Box set is a Little Different then Mine I Have The outer Cardboard Box But instead of having the individual seasons I have 2 DVD Boxes Box 1 Has seasons 1-4 and Box 2 Has Season 5-7 and what is also nice is the episode are the Original Uncut episodes that aired on CBS have a pleasant day and enjoy your Dukes of Hazard DVD Box Set

love those old legacy series,its a shame they have'nt restored those yet,i dont buy DVD's anymore,too low resolution for the era of 1080P,4K,and even 8K on the way,if they ban those series and movies,they have to ban almost everything,evne sitcoms and reality sh*t,btw,who takes notice of that flag on the car,i dont,political correctness is everywhere,its a desease,and will bring a world of intolerant people wich will destroy any kind of happyness

They should have included the two tv movies they made Reunion and Hollywood. Walker Texas Ranger included the TV movie Trial By Fire
I like the way the disk all match across the 7 seasons.

How the sound on these. Seem to hear mix things on sound. Got surround sound which I'm sure it isn't surround sound but def plan on cranking it up!

what is the picture ratio on the disc is it 4.3 or 16x9
I purchased the complete series on Vudu. Seasons 1 and 2 are in 4:3 aspect ratio. The rest are in 16:9.
