- We went to SEVERAL sales, one of which at the garage of the same couple who we bought the St. Anthony statue from! At one sale, Karen was GIVEN a dresser FOR FREE and at another, Karen found an amazing huge heavy and surprisingly valuable antique mortar for $1!!! 🤯🤯🤯

Can't believe you skipped the Sorel boots with wool liners!! They are the best winter boots. Those particular boots are 200 new. Some good finds though. Especially the Mortar.
Karen you need to up your prices maybe someone else in the US or elsewhere would buy your items at a higher price
The thing with the flower frog in it was a Japanese Ikibana vase and some of those can be worth quite a bit. That's what it looked like to me.

I think the plate with the flower frog is for the Japanese art of ichibana. A few stems of varying heights are placed onto the frog very simply.

Somebody probably already commented, but the flat ceramic with the flower frogs is an ikebana vase.
The flower frog is for Japanese Ikabana. Some of them are very valuable. It is a Japanese way of floral design that uses Zen and negative space.
WOW that mortar was an AWESOME find. Oh and meeting the stripey Tom was a bonus.

Thank you. We think the mortar was possibly from a pharmacy in the 1800's, where they would mix larger batches of remedies.
