Amazing...would you do videos on operating Sergers. I have one but I don't know how to use it. But that video on sewing tips, really has me interesting in giving my Serger another chance. I just started using my new sewing machine that I had for over 5 years now, the serger too. I just love my new machine, before I stuck with my old old singer.

+Nadira037 Afwan beautiful sister! my first time seeing your videos was the overgarment tutorial and I actually tried making it and did ok, just needed better material. I have the same machine you have and I'm working on a line as well. A clothing line for young Muslimahs like us... In Shaa Allah it will be launched this year. You helped me get back into sewing. I haven't sewn in over 10 years and I was raised by my grandmother and she took dress making as a trade in high school and became a well known dress maker/seamstress around here in Philly, so I thank you for that and for Also showing me that Muslimahs can still be modest and fashionable. Even though now I hear that we can't wear makeup or heels... As a new convert I'm confused as to what is right and what is wrong, and if you have any advice or feedback for me I will appreciate it.
+Mckenya Barfield Welcome to Islam sister! my advice for your question is take it easy or you may burn out eventually. As you learn more, you can decide for yourself how you will become more modest. Some believe makeup is fine, some don't. I have never heard that heels aren't allowed before. Just do your research and do what you think is right based on what you learn. Make some good muslim friends, learn from a good mosque or islamic lectures online- i suggest Omar Suleiman, Nouman Ali Khan on youtube. My biggest advice is not to mix up culture with Islam. For example, some cultures follow superstitions which are not Islamic at all, like praying to the dead (just an example). Its hard to distinguish sometimes what is the real Islamic practices and what path to follow but Inshallah you have an easy journey x

hijab it means to cover ur hair and ur whole body except ur face and ur hands and ur feet . so u can wear turban as hijab or as a style 👍
