AMAZING!! Wish she had performed at this year's AMAs. I don't bother to watch them, but from the videos posted, they're awful and didn't hold a light to this. Also, Carrie's rendition of I Will Always Love You is far better than the one this year at the AMAs :P

Because prior to this award. He made a comment about Carrie. He said he wasn't sure how good Carrie was. And a lot of Carrie's fans, let him have it. After he said I will wait until I someone perform before I judge. He didn't realize how big of following Carrie has. That is why they showed him. He found out how good Carrie is. He has kept his word about not commenting about another artist, he hasn't seen before. He said lesson learned.
The problem with awards shows, where to put Carrie's performance. When they put her performance first, they lose the audience. Because a lot of fans want to watch her perform. Some say her diva persona. Heck, no. Carrie is just that good. And the fans know it. Audiences get mad when she is last to perform.
Carrie kind if gives out low expectations of songs. What I mean by that. Carrie and co-writers wrote this song. She thought it was a fun, dark song, which she hope it would be single, but not be popular. But she got shocked by how well it took off and became a blockbuster hit. And then she asked permission of Stephen King to book concept for the video. He said yes, and interested what Carrie and P.J. Brown had in mind.
