Back in the late 90s early 2000s I was doing tape trading with various tapers around the globe . I had at one point done a trade with a taper from Germany for some Krokus , Accept , Gotthard and other concerts and he included a tape of your band from a concert in Munich from probably around 1999. On that tape was a medley of Voodoo child morphing into Im A Man and then into the very best version of Whole Lotta Love ive ever heard!! Any chance that video exists of that concert ?? I'd LOVE to see the video of that concert !
Hi there, I am not sure. 1999 we toured with Saxon. Maybe it happened there. Currently I cannot find out what videos we have from that tour cause we moved to another place and everything is still in moving boxes. It will take several weeks until we are ready to funktion again. I keep it in mind, okay? Who knows. Cheers, Jim
@@SkewSiskin_Rock_n_Roll It could very well have been while your band was touring with Saxon as I know for certain that there was a taper from Germany that had been following Saxon to all its shows in Europe and recording them . I had also been trading shows with him as I was bigtime into collecting Saxon recordings back then , but I hadnt gotten the recording of your band from him but from another trader in Germany. Do you recall the medley I was referring to ? It was just a few instrumental bars of Voodoo child that went into a few instrumental bars of what I believe was Im A Man by Spencer Davis Group and then into a fantastic version of Whole Lotta Love with the best echo effect I think ive ever heard on the vocals .
@@SkewSiskin_Rock_n_Roll I had actually received two recordings of your band from that tape trader and i have located the case from one of the tapes but the tape is no longer in the case . My house had partially flooded a couple of years ago and many things are still not where they should be . Without the tape itself im not certain if this is the show with that medley or not , but this one was from Nachtwerk, Munich 11-22-99
@@bobsblues9944 the song title is "In Another World" from the first Album "Skew Siskin". The solo part is a medley tribute to some bands we like and had an influence on us. It's 12 min long. On the album it's not with the Led Zeppelin part. That was added later only for the live shows.
@@bobsblues9944 it could be show we did on an off-day in Munich during a Motörhead-support tour. I knew the owner and called him on short notice and he invited us. Small club. Max 200 people. Everybody had fun. Perfect. Much better than handing around for 1 day in Munich and not really knowing what to do.
