This has been a profound, powerful, and literally an eye opening word!!' I have never heard anyone teaching on the subject of death. Although death is inevitable we often ignore it and are hesitant about speaking of death. We discuss everything else but we avoid this subject until a friend or loved one is gone. This is not quite correct.
The death God was speaking of was seperation of man from Him and dominion.
Adam still lived almost 1000 years.
Adam had a choice between life and good and death and evil.
Death was in breaking of the command not to eat from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil and immortality was in the tree of life.
God removed them after the transgression before they could eat from the tree of life and live forever in a state of seperation from Him.
Therefore Adam was not immortal meaning eternally alive in his flesh but was alive in his soul only.
By removing them from Eden God was ensuring that their condition of sin could be reversed via redemption and so that He could come to earth and pay for the life of Adam,who was a god,made like God.(Read Gen 1:26,Psalm 82:5-7).
When Adam died,a god died,therefore God had to die as payment for the life of a god he made like Him.The payee had to be equal or greater than the transgressor.
Jesus brought life back to any man who would receive/believe in Him by being the required payment because of the law,"The wages of sin is death".
In Him was life and the life was the light of men.
He brought life back through knowledge and atonement of Himself.
But why do you say it's not correct,what Dr Myles is preaching is what you are explaining..u religious right
